Just returned from a 4 night stay in the studio lodge and can honestly say i didn't want to leave. We have never stayed in a lodge before so didn't know what to expect. A warm and friendly welcome then a quick guided tour and shown how to use the hot tub (first time and loved it). The lodge was lovely and had everything you needed and we were so lucky with gorgeous weather. The most relaxing UK break we have been on and looking forward to returning in the future.

Back from this wonderful place, spent 4 nights there, gorgeous location,  immaculately kept grounds. Was made most welcome, by the lovely hosts. The beautiful farm animals, when wandering around the 16 acres with our 2 dogs. Would Definitely recommend this place. And we will be returning,  when we are next in pickering.

We have just returned after a bank holiday break at Barker Stakes Farm.
We booked all the lodges around the pond and the setting was perfect, also next to the playing field which the children loved as did the dogs.
The lodges had everything we could have wished for, for a perfect relaxed weekend.
Thank You and we will definitely be coming back.

Second stay this time with the kids we stayed in the studio lodge with a hot tub. The lodge was clean and had all we needed including hair dryer, towels, and all the usual. The lodge had a kitchenette which had an air fryer, toaster, kettle and microwave so enough to make a decent meal we had spaghetti bolognaise one night and burgers the next choosing to eat out as well there is also plenty of of space to have a bbq should you get the weather and they have stands you can use. The hot tub was clean and a good size for a family of 4. The hosts are lovely it’s family run and they are really approachable if you need anything or have any questions. It’s a good base for lots of days out with Eden Camp, Flamingoland and Castle Howard nearby  as well as all the coast towns. We went to Scarborough one day and it took just over 30mins and was a lovely drive. The site has animals you can walk round and see and a good play area with a sheltered area with table tennis etc.The kids are already asking to go back.

We stayed in the studio for a small family which had a main Bedsit kind of area with separate bathroom, kitchenette and twin room. The main room had a comfy bed, dressing table, comfy couch, dining table and big TV. The Wi-Fi signal was good throughout our stay so we couple watch Netflix and chill after spending time in our lovely big hot tub. The kitchenette has an air fryer, toaster, microwave, kettle and all the appropriate dishes to use in the microwave for making pasta and stuff. We managed to make spaghetti bolognaise using quorn mince and as it was winter we had pie and mash with mushy peas the second night which was lovely. I would recommend this lodge for a couple or small family. The staff were very friendly and the farm is really well kept with a nice play area for children and a shed area which teenagers would like which has table tennis and table footy. There is also a number of small animals to look at goats, pis etc. We walked to Pickering on the Saturday (takes around 30 mins and is flat) and had a bit of a shop and pub crawl there was plenty of bars with a good range of real ales, larger and cocktails.

We have just returned from a Christmas break to the Farm and could not of wished for more. Steve and Sarah left so many unexpected personal touches , from the Christmas tree, card and tub of chocolates to the offer of fresh farm eggs. All really appreciated. We have never been away for Christmas before and were unsure as to whether it was a good idea but it most certainly was. This is our second visit and it is not our last. We stayed in the Parkside Lodge this time and as with previous, the lodge was spacious and immaculate. We really appreciated the peace and quite of the site. Thank you Steve and Sarah for welcoming us to your home  and we look forward to seeing you again

Absolutely lovely place! Steve was lovely and really friendly. Rang at 6pm to book and by the time we arrived a couple of hours later the hot tub was heated and everything ready for us. We will definitely be back! Thank you for having us and the dogs! 

Accommodation is clean and well maintained. Smart tv in the lounge/kitchen enabling us to watch Netflix was great!

Absolutely wonderful 4 days here ,me my partner and two dogs.stayed in one of there new pods.It was so warm and cosy lovely kitchen and shower ,and the bed fantastic.Cant say enough about our wonderful hosts,and the lovely animals.Defo booking again Thankyou.x

We stayed in a glamping pod for 2 nights. Fantastic for families, 2 bunk beds for kids  in their own alcove and a double bed for the parents. All bedding provided and it along with whole pod was spotless. Far from roughing it, the shower room, kitchen with  indoor table and chairs along with plasma TV meant every need was catered for, it’s more like a small lodge. Owners were so kind and welcoming and let the girls help with the animal feeding which they loved. We will 100% be back!

Best 4 day stay I’ve ever experienced!
Just come back from the most relaxing 4 day stay. The owners are so helpful and willing to do anything for you. The area is absolutely beautiful with the most insane views. The lodge we stayed in was stunning with comfy beds. Hot tub was an added bonus and great that it was checked everyday !

What a Gem!

Lovely relaxed break, in a very pleasant lodge, with comfy bed.  
Also the surrounding grounds are very well maintained, although the trip up on the road into the site, is a bit precarious with a number of potholes.
We stayed in Waterside 1 lodge with hot tub, 
Highlight of the trip was when we  visited Castle Howard which is perfect from this  location 
Overall a really nice stay over, and well worth the price for a lodge with hot tub👌
