Diana is lovely and knowledgeable about the area. The property is clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is ample and tasty. There are stairs to reach the rooms, no lift, but her son was able to carry our bags up.

No parking,no Aircon or Fan in room,No Dining Room,breakfast had to be eaten in kitchen close to sink and cooker,no communal lounge,very basic,shower had not been cleaned.This establishment not as advertised ,would not recommend to my worst enemy.Hence my wife and myself walked out we did not stay at all.

Stayed in Summertown on the first floor. Lovely room very comfortable bed . Had a good nights sleep. Plenty of wardrobe space & everything was really clean. Diana was really lovely & friendly & cooked a great breakfast. Good bus service into Oxford City they run every few minutes.

A lovely stay

I stayed at Diane’s B&B in early May. I felt very welcome, and enjoyed my stay of 3 nights. The house was very quiet, and I felt  secure,- important to me as I was travelling solo.  I enjoyed the freshly cooked breakfast ( and home made yogurt), and it was a pleasure to meet Vic, Diane’s other half.  Conveniently situated near to bus routes to the centre of Oxford, and with cafes, restaurants near by, this B&B is an ideal choice for the traveller.

Very Comfortable Stay

I am so sorry to have to give a two star review as we found the owner to be a very pleasant lady.  If the room rate had been considerable lower for what was provided, we would have given it three stars but at a headline rate of up to £125 per night, we were expecting something exceptional and I'm afraid it wasn't. Also a warning,  breakfast is not necessarily included.
The semi detached house has room for two cars to park. It is close to a good bus route to the city, where we were meeting friends. 
We had the 1st floor double en suite room which was not quite ready for our early evening arrival. It was an average sized bedroom, equipped with only the basics but did posses a huge wardrobe. The bed was comfortable and the floor and furniture was clean though the blinds and windows were not. The ensuite was small, the shower a small cubicle with a broken shower head holder and no shower furniture. We found the cistern hard to flush and the level of cleaning did not satisfy my wife.  There were missing  light bulbs in the room and the en suite.
The room overlooks a small back garden. We could hear traffic from the nearby main road but noise from other rooms was not too bad. 
The breakfasts are served opposite the double room on a shared kitchen table in this small kitchen diner. The food was fine though drink fill ups were not offered.
So, and I am sorry to say this as we liked Dianne, it is just not worth the rate charged.

Sorry to say, disappointing 

We arrived after visiting the city centre(10 mins drive away) and were unfortunately super wet due to weather. Diana pointed us in the direction of our double room on 2nd floor and offered a hair dryer to us which came in handy. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. TV and WiFi worked well. Complimentary tea and coffee as well as all shower toiletries in shower. Breakfast was nice and all guests sit round one table which I've seen some negative comments about but we enjoyed. Diana was very friendly and helpful. We walked locally for dinner and drinks, fairly quiet area. Lovely stay. 

Homely and comfortable 

My husband and I spent 4 nights at Diana's BnB and we enjoyed our experience. The bed was comfortable; the amenities met our needs (the shower in our bathroom was very small, but we managed just fine). The BnB is on a quiet street and I liked that. Bus lines are less than a block away and service to central Oxford is frequent. Diana is very accommodating and knowledgeable. She knew that our daughter is a J.R.R. Tolkien fan and she told us his grave was nearby.  She is the kind of person who enjoys sharing her knowledge and I enjoyed our conversations over traditional English breakfast. If I have any complaint it's that breakfast is an extra fee, and that is something that I think should be explained up front.

A pleasant and comfortable stay on an unexpected journey

Stayed in here for the Oxford half marathon. The room was comfortable, leaving me well rested for the race. Diana was welcoming and helpful, providing a delicious breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend.
