This has now closed but Agoda are still taking bookings and your money. The B&B looked lovely but sadly is being converted into some sort of college. Couldn't find anywhere else in Oxford so had to go home after a long day dropping our daughter at university.

BEWARE

Parklands is everything you want in an English B&B:  clean, safe, charming, with good service and great food. 

It is, however, a solid 20 to 30 minute walk to the Town Centre, which is fine so long as your not staying there on a cold February night, which I was!

Excellent B&B, 30 minute walk from Town Centre

This place is fantastic. I almost hesitate to say it because I don't want it to become so busy that I can't book there again in the future. But they deserve all the praise and more. Very comfortable rooms. Lovely and quiet interior. Simple but delicious breakfast. Right on the bus route so it is super easy to get to and from town on a moments notice. We even put off picking up our rental car for a day because we found the bus system so easy to use. Staff was kind, knowledgeable, attentive, and accommodating. I can't say enough good things about this B&B.

Amazing Experience! Can't wait to go back

Hotels were very fully booked and luckily we ended up here. The staff were friendly, the rooms very good and comfortable. As close as you can get to the Oxford sights in this sort of class and price bracket. Very impressed and they had a high quality breakfast. Well done.

A very good find for us

My sister and myself decided to spend a few days in Oxford and chose Parklands.  What a brilliant choice.  The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful.  The rooms and beds were very comfortable and what can I say about the breakfast....bang goes the diet.  The hotel was spotless,  good parking and only 15 minutes from Oxford centre. We would definitely use Parklands again

Little Gem

Very close to Oxford centre. Parking on site which was essential. Interior decor is beautiful. Very comfortable, clean and charming atmosphere. We booked nine of thirteen rooms for our son's wedding, and we chose well. The staff were so helpful, welcoming and friendly.We arrived early, but booked in, no problem.They arranged taxis for our nineteen guest s to go to the ceremony.
All the rooms were lovely, very country house, but with modern, stylish shower rooms en suite..
Breakfasts were very good, in the dining room with large windows onto the garden. A glorious Oxford house. A very memorable weekend.

Wedding weekend in Oxford

A nice hotel in an old house. Difficult to fault as clean and comforatbale room but it does lack air conditioning so with recent hot weather sleeping was not so easy as rooms get fairly hot. 
Breakfast is good with a range of cooked to order breakfasts.
Fairly pricey compared to other hotels

Nice small hotel on outskirts of Oxford

The Parklands is a 15-20 minute walk from the center of Oxford; there is also the city bus nearby. The B&B has parking, a lovely little garden adjacent to the building, and a small sitting room where you can read the paper and relax. A full breakfast is available every morning. There is free wifi as well. Rooms are not air conditioned but a fan is provided. The accommodations are immaculate and comfortable. The B&B provides water, a small snack, coffee, hot chocolate and a hot water kettle in the room. If you are a traveler who is accustomed to larger spaces, just know that the rooms are cozy (this is not a negative detail at all) and the management is quite clear about expectations concerning space. Room 25, for example, has a shower stall and no tub.

The staff is very kind, quick to respond, and welcoming. My only suggestion would be to post signs or inform guests of a quiet policy in the evening after 10:00. The walls are thin, and noise travels easily (TV, regular conversation, slamming of doors). I would kindly suggest to the management to ask guests to be mindful of noise levels at night. I don't think guests want to disturb others intentionally but I think they are simply unaware of how easily noise travels from room to room.

All in all, Parklands is an excellent value.
