Oxford is an expensive City, finding somewhere well located at a reasonable price is a challenge. We had our fingers crossed when we booked the Richmond but we needn’t have worried. It’s not absolutely central but it’s in trendy Jericho, with good pubs and restaurants all around - if you don’t fancy the hotels own Lebanese offering. Central Oxford is a short walk away. The rooms are simple with few frills but the essentials are there. Good bathroom with decent shower, full size towels, comfortable bed, tea and coffee making kit and all nice and clean. Be aware that the check in is via the restaurant counter but the good news is they give you complementary baclava! Definitely worth considering if you’re on a budget! We’ll be back.
