Spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated with attention to detail that made for a very enjoyable stay. We stayed two nights; either side of our Island holiday.  Both rooms we stayed in were beautifully decorated with lots of lovely artwork. The rooms were well equipped and we loved the little extras like the hot water bottle, eye mask, ear plugs and even a pack of playing cards.  The house is well situated for the town centre, restaurants and the ferry port. We thoroughly enjoyed both our stays and would love to return for another stay.

A fabulous find. Very convenient location and spotlessly clean.  Made to feel very welcome and homely touches in the room.  Cooked breakfast can be pre-ordered at a nearby hotel, but the continental breakfast bag in room was perfectly adequate.  Can highly recommend.

We stayed two nights in Edna’s lovely Dana Villa and are delighted to recommend!
From booking, to arrival we had lovely helpful communication. We stayed in the Deluxe Room (No.7), which really was delightful. Everything was very tasteful and so much thought had gone into everything for us as guests. We just couldn’t have wanted more. The room was compact but didn’t feel small or cramped. The bed was beautiful and very comfortable. Towels and complimentary toiletries were lovely too 😊 The room is set at the rear of the property but has a lovely outlook, and what’s more; is SO quiet and peaceful! We had 8 hours wonderful sleep!
We thought we might have been disturbed by the usual Seagulls, but we never heard any! The Complimentary breakfast was an amazing much appreciated surprise! Thanks Edna for everything! We’ll definitely back the next time we come your way. 
Ooooh! and we can recommend Spice World - the Bangladeshi Restaurant just a short walk away, for a lovey supper! 👍

A very lovely place, convenient, every need thought of. Beautifully appointed.  Stayed only one night but would have liked more.  There is a generous continental style breakfast in the room, not cooked.

So comfortable and clean. Lovely lady there to greet us who was very knowledgeable about the  town. Complimentary breakfast delivered daily, fruit, juice, biscuits and porridge. If ever we travel to Oban again, we would definitely make a return visit.

We stayed for 3 nights in the King Room.
The location was perfect on the flat and quiet.
Our room had everything and more including an automatic low level light in the bathroom.
The bed was very comfy and the decor fresh and welcoming as were the hosts.
The breakfast bag offered flexibilty so one day we were early for the 3 islands tour, and another day we had a welcome lie in.
We would definately recommend and hope to stay again

Parking was just over the road. Free if you arrive after 6.small charge before
Lovely hosts. Helpful. Room very well appointed exceptionally clean. Very Covid 19 conscious establishment. Large TV in room. Lots of and coffee. Main town a short walk away loads of restaurants and bars etc. Cinema close by. We will stay again when we are in Oban.

We stayed only one night, but I like to go back. The room was large, very cosy and very clean. Comfy bed with very nice soft bedding and comfy pillows. Good location very close to the harbour, pubs, restaurants.
My room was facing the street, but it was still quiet with double glazing. 

I stayed here in a double room over night. I was pleasantly surprised by the standard and care in my room. Being one of several places I have had to stay recently this had all the home comforts you could possibly need.  

I will happily return here for pleasure.  I only wish I could have spent more time in my room, but it was the perfect place to relax after a long day and journey. The bed was extremely comfortable and I had a great restful sleep.  

I really appreciated the attention to detail in the room. In the bathroom there was a cupboard with iron, ironing board,  hangers and suitcase stand.  The bathroom also had a lovely window seat and made a pleasant dressing room. 

Hosts were welcoming and made me  feel at home.  Photo doesn't do room justice.  

Great three night stay at Dana Villa. Beautiful room with lovely decor and great service. Breakfast was delicious and ample. Just a few minutes walk to the middle of Oban and parking across the street. John and Edna were fantastic hosts. A cut above!

Comfortable, welcoming and lovely 

If you’re looking for a clean and super friendly B&B in Oban than do yourself a favour and stay with John at Dana Villa. Perfectly priced and great central location you will find everything you need at Dana Villa. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay whilst exploring the Isles of Mull, Staffa and Iona and will be back if our travels take us to Oban again.

Gem of a B&B in Oban

Beautiful homely home. Warm from the minute you walk in. Hosts were terrific, accomodating & breakfast was ample. Bedroom was small but sufficient. The bathroom was spotlessly clean & overall everything was really nice. My only gripe was the excessively firm beds, sleeping comfort was not great. Location is terrific & close parking available.  😊💐

Lovely 

Stayed two nights of 7th and 8th September. Highly recommended. Bedroom was spotlessly clean, as was the rest of the guest house, and there was tremendous attention to detail. Made to feel very welcome by the host and the breakfast was brilliant. They do not offer parking but the Argyle and Bute council car park is close by. Unfortunately it’s expensive and the council really do need to look at the charges if they want to encourage tourism. This of course is beyond the control of the guest house and don’t let it out put you off staying there.

Room very clean, nicely appointed.
Tea , coffee facilities.
Plenty towels.
Parking in public car opposite worked well.
No breakfast, but not an issue as plenty of local options and generous goodie bag in room.
