Victoria Centre Apartments & Annexe

This hotel was allocated to me 2 days prior to my visit to Nottingham for the Ice Hockey Play Offs as my previous apartment cancelled their booking with me but I have to say I am very grateful as I was more than happy with this booking. I was shocked to be able to get something so close to my arrival dates as the city was extremely busy due the events happening that weekend . From start to finish the hosts were fantastic. This was booked on a late on a Wednesday afternoon for my arrival on the Friday 2 days later. I phoned to speak to the host to arrange key collection and was advised to phone 1 hour prior to my arrival but they would also e-mail me the information which they did very promptly. I was e-mailed and text information about where to park (NCP Car park) next to Aldi which was literally a few streets away from the apartment. This was given at a discount rate of £8 per day. I met the hosts at a local pub next to the car park and was escorted to the apartment which was helpful as it would have been difficult to find otherwise. The apartment was clean, spacious and had all the amenities you would need. The beds were very comfy and the apartment was spacious. It is right in the city centre so lots of restaurants and buses within walking distance. The hosts were contactable during my stay and were able to help with any issues I had. They were very flexible with check out times as well but I had a long drive and wanted to head off early. Check out was simple as you just left the keys in the apartment and locked the door behind you. The only minor thing I would say is that the sofa looked a little worn but don't let this put you off as it was still very comfy but it could look a little more pleasing to the eye. Overall I was very pleased with this experience. The host were excellent at getting all the necessary information to you and were contactable throughout my stay. They were very considerate of my situation and I felt very comfortable and relieved that they were able to accommodate me and my friend at such short notice. I will definitely look to book with them again.
