It was very busy when we arrived and the check in host Scott was really polite and helpful. I observed him assisting a very stressed and aggressive guest. He was calm, kind, helpful and gently spoken. He solved all her reservation questions. I had forgotten to inform Premier Inn about my needing the sofa bed being made up in our family room. Scott made up the bed so when we came back in from being out, everything was done and we had a comfortable night. My only issue was the window hardly opening so the room was quite stuffy although we were provided with a great fan. This didn’t ruin our stay in any way.

Booked up last minuet as was in Nottingham for a wedding when my baby boy ended up in hospital. And needed somewhere quick and close to queens medical. The staff were great and so helpful made everything so easy. Needed to extend my stay showed and explained the best way to do this and managed to keep my same room. Gave a listening ear to the problems we were having and just gave an around amazing experience. Will Deffinatly be saving this hotels details for when up this way again.

Lovely staff, not a great environment

Location was great for city, caves and castle. The marina was interesting too and I slept well as it was very quiet, even on the ground floor. I had an accessible room without even asking. It was great because it had a wet room.

The premier inn I visited recently provided me with the most exceptional experience! The hospitality was outstanding. Upon arrival at the reception, I engaged in a pleasant conversation with the friendly staff member, Aleena again. It was a delightful surprise to discover complimentary snacks on the counter, a considerate gesture. The room was cozy and inviting. Although the food at the restaurant was satisfactory, the service did not quite meet the premier inn's usual standards. Afterward, I enjoyed a leisurely walk along the canal.

Lovely Premier Inn. Always use Premier Inn when going away. Lovely location and easy to get to. Food in the Beefeater was great and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and use again if we are up this way again.

We stopped at the castle marina for the location and amenities around the area friendly staff on reception and great lady greeting us in the morning at the beefeater for breakfast easy to walk into town and warhammer world great stay and sleep 

Long weekend and football

Good location and friendly staff but we were left with some major questions on the cost and safety of this Premier Inn. We are frequent Premier Inn and are usually impressed but this one felt tired and a bit uncared for. The major issue that worried us was the 2cm gap between our door and the floor meaning you could hear everything going on in the corridor and had light coming through all night. We've also raised with Premier Inn that surely this is a fire hazard and against safety regulations.

Room safety is main memory

The staff were friendly and helpful but the room needed to be updated. 
The mattress, a key selling point of Premier Inn, was uneven and in need of replacement. 
A curtain was hanging by a single connection. 
The bathroom was old and needed a thorough clean and refurbish. The shower head was fixed in place pointing out of the bath forcing me to lean out over the edge of the bath, a clear safety issue. 
A patch of carpet was missing. 
In general my room was long overdue for a total refit.

We would to thank Scott, and colleague Eleanor? very much for their help and great personal service during a recent stay. For example they tried to find a way to allow us to stay in the same room for more than one night when we had had to make 4 separate bookings for 4 nights in different rooms as our booking was fairly last minute. With their help and their other colleague on reception who was also v nice, Eleanor showed us who to call andarranged it so we kept the same room for two of the four nights, which was great.
Scott and colleague were v friendly and welcoming when we arrived, which is always appreciated when arriving after a long drive being tired etc, Scott was also great throughout our stay, checking we had all we needed, and on departure.
Staff were also friendly in the Brewers Fayre restaurant, The only downside was that the usually good PremierInn cooked breakfast was not at all good that day. they forgot several items ordered, mushrooms etc were undercooked, so we decided not to eat there again,which we otherwise would have done. Thanks
