The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the cot was in a good condition as well! It was very quiet and the staff were lovely and very helpful!  A great place to stay. There was also lots of parking

Great stay

Had a really bad experience here. We had a double room and a family room. The main issue was the electric radiators which were really noisy - making a loud clapping noise as they clicked on sporadically throughout the night.

We were clapped awake throughout the night, and the kids came in to complain at 2am as they had the same. We tried turning the thermostat down and even taking the room key out of the power socket but neither stopped the rads clapping.

In the morning I told the receptionist who said they were fully aware and head office were looking into it.

Also please be aware there is no buffet at this hotel, which we typically associate with Premier Inn.

The bar advertises cocktails but when my 20yo daughter ordered one the bar person sighed and said he doesn’t usually make cocktails and we might want to try the bar across the road (Binks Yard - that was really nice BYW)

Really noisy. Not much sleep. Not much help.

The check in was as normal for a premier in, we got to our room and basically got changed and went straight out, as we were at a concert, on coming back that's where the issues started, we then realised the room hadn't been cleaned properly, the bin in the bathroom was almost full, the heater was clicking loudly all night and the service at the bar was appalling, will stay at the Leonardo across the road next time. 

Worst premier inn

Second time at the hotel and a great experience, really well looked after despite my continuous questions, huge thanks to Lorraine who was there for my first visit and kept the team going that night, but I have to give a huge shout out to Michelle for her smiley service from start to finish (27th-28th Nov)…..Best smile this side of anywhere….Hotel work is not an easy life but between Michell & Lorraine, my stay was excellent! despite 30yrs of travelling week to week and hotel stays, I don’t say that often. Every question answered and cheerfully!

Michelle and Lorraine made the stay Great!

Great base, clean rooms and friendly staff, but the sewage smell from the bathroom was quite unbearable!  We raised this at reception in the morning and apparently it is a problem constantly in all the rooms. We skipped having a shower in the morning because of it.

Great hotel but bad smell

Stayed overnight for visit to Motorpoint Arena. There is parking outside the hotel and even on match day we managed to get a space there, and it was cheaper than parking overnight at other public car parks. Our room was ready even though we arrived a little early. Room was all you expect from the chain, just some wear and tear in some of decoration but it was clean and has all you need for a comfortable nights sleep.
Restaurant wasn't open when we arrived but there are plenty of venues nearby. Great location for football or arena visit and would stay again if I need to return to Nottingham.

Good location, friendly welcome

What a great stay me and my colleagues had, the rooms were brilliant, the food genuinely delicious at breakfast and the staff incredibly helpful, especially Kyra who was nothing but golden to us the entire stay!

Kyra is the best!

I was extremely impressed by my stay here. It far exceeded my expectations. Start to finish, the service was phenomenal. Helen went above and beyond. As the room was cold, she got us a portable heater which was adequate. She also saved us money on parking. We went for the meal deal. The dinner deal was excellent standard. They even saved us eggs for brekki and was lovely. Will definitely be back again. 

Excellent Experience

The room was as expected, with just some typical wear and tear - a good sized room, comfortable bed, good bathroom facilities. However, the reception staff were rude and unhelpful so I would question whether I would use this specific Premier Inn again.

We go to concerts at the arena fairly regularly and we always choose to stay here. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Donovan, who checked us in this time, was lovely.  Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is great. Will be back!
