Booked 6 weeks in advance specifically requesting car parking on their message system. Rang day before visit to be told no parking available. Had to rush to find alternative accommodation. Was promised refund for the inconvenience. 3 weeks later and still waiting. Difficult to speak to anyone as phone goes to answer machine. When I did manage to get through the girl was totally unhelpful. Appalling service. Be very wary about booking with Cranbrook.

Be very wary about booking Cranbrook House

Lovely apartment on the 12th floor with stunning views. We found it to be very clear, well equipped and got access to the building via the self check in process easily. 

Only negative was when I rang to book a parking space I left a voicemail but no one called back so we had to pay NCP rates instead.  

Good quality and value

3 of us stayed one night for a university open day.  On the day of arrival we were texted the codes we needed to enter the building.  We had pre-booked parking and what wasn't clear until we arrived, was that the fob to enter the car park was on the keyring on the keys inside the safe - luckily an apartment owner pulled up behind us and let us in - otherwise we'd have had to find somewhere else to park (all meters and double yellow lines around) whilst we retrieved the keys.
On entering the apartment we were very pleased with how spacious and clean it was.  Nice towels and bedding.  One bathroom appeared to have been very recently painted as there was a wet paint smell and wet paint splashed on the floor (which we cleaned) so we all used the other bathroom.  
The beds were very comfortable - 2 of us are light sleepers and were disturbed by the amount of road noise (even through ear plugs).  The heavy sleeper was not disturbed.

Great location for an overnight in city centre

Appalling experience. On arrival we were escorted 2 streets away to an alternative apartment block called Koladziey apartments. When I asked why we were here I was told they had no apartments in the building I had booked our 2 night stay. This apartment was shocking with a wet room floor throughout that was breaking up in every room with the odd rug over it to try to hide it! It was a health hazard to be honest and we had to keep our shoes on the entire time to avoid ripping our skin/infection. There was no mattress protector on the beds, only ill fitting sheets over heavily stained mattresses! The toilet seat was broken, as was the bath panel and the kitchen kick board fell off on my foot. The upvc bedroom window had a thick yellow gunge on it and the other bedroom view was a brick wall, instead of the advertised ‘city views’ see pics. I spoke to the owner/manager the next morning about my concerns and he accused me of being one of those fussy customers who has gone over the place with a fine tooth comb taking photos at close range, just to try to get money out of them! All his words. He also said this apartment was not his as he had passed our booking on to his friend as he had issues in his block, and he had paid them out of our costs. He said therefore it was not his responsibility and it was nothing to do with him. He was very rude and condescending even though I hadn’t actually asked for any money back and was simply bringing to his attention the sub standard accommodation he had put us in! The whole experience was disgusting and very upsetting and we could not wait to check out. Never again, use a hotel. 

DO NOT USE THESE APARTMENTS 

Excellent location, great value for money, really handy for city centre, station and, for us 2 mins walk from Motorpoint Arena where we attended a Rod Stewart concert. All facilities like a home from home. Only criticism was a very precarious loo seat that needed fixing. 

An overnight 

Not too sure about the recent comments because I found everything to be great . Just one small niggle being the car park entrance is just through the traffic lights. The staff were very helpful and the apartments were  clean and well equipped.

Great stay !! Very nice and spacious accommodation

So like so many before us, we were victim to an incompetent hotel. We arrived, after much difficulty in finding the place, to being locked out. There was no possible way to get in. I then phoned them, to be told they were fully booked and didn’t have our booking. In other words it was cancelled. The woman on the phone claimed she’d relocate us, but never called back. We ended up elsewhere, luckily, as we had to get ready for a party!

Like so many others have experienced it seems, our booking was cancelled a few hours before we were due to check in due to a 'maintenance issue'. I suspect that this was actually due to overbooking, as an event was taking place in town that weekend. We had paid in advance and to their credit Cranbrook did arrange alternative accommodation for us, which based the reviews below were much nicer apartments, and meant that we weren't stranded.

The attitude of the reservations staff left a lot to be desired, we were clearly unhappy at the situation yet could hear them giggling with someone in the background while dealing with the call. Needless to say I won't be booking here again.

Cancelled last minute

We were at Cranbrook house Serviced apartments for a night in September. I have to say that looking at the reviews, we were a little afraid of not finding the hotel. Instead it was very, very simple. The directions are sent from the hotel in advance, I think it's impossible to go wrong! Very nice apartments, and very central location to have a parking lot.

Have a good night in Nottingham.

We stayed 4 nights and everything was perfect. a spacious apartment, very bright and with incredible views of the city (we were on the 12th floor). there is no reception, but the way to check in and check out is totally clear and if there is any prior doubt contest very quickly. highly recommended certainly.
