Jenny is welcoming and very pleasant.  The house if full of original architectural features, spotlessly clean and tidy.  I had a large, comfortable room with plenty of bedding.  Quiet yet close to the road network and the sea.  Breakfast was simple but fresh and enjoyable.  I had a very long day travelling up from Winchester at 4.45am then working all day in Gateshead - it was great to have a comfy quiet night and sleep well.  I absolutely loved Rodney, the well-behaved and beautiful resident cat - an added bonus as far as I am concerned!

The Sandsbrook guest house does exactly what you need it to.  It is a small, but perfectly adequate guesthouse very close to the sea front.

Jenny offers a clean and tidy house with a light breakfast all at a reasonable cost.  What a pleasant stay in a nice environment, and was also good to meet the cat :)

Just wanted to say thanks again for an amazing stay. Loved staying at the Sandsbrook yet again. Rooms are spotless,  service in second to none and breakfast was lovely. Lovely family atmosphere. Definitely will be back again. X

Great wee B&B and very reasonably priced. We booked at very short notice and also some of the gang had to cancel at short notice which was accommodated. Very close to the sea front and the town centre.

 Great Holiday!

Very nice on arrival. Very friendly staff and clean environment had a lovely stay. However an hour after I left I had an email informing me that the owner had helped herself to 100 pounds from my bank saying I had caused damage to her carpet with a cigarette. Even tho I respected the no smoking policy and smoked outside. Also the transaction was made at 9 16 am whilst i was still in bed and didn't hand keys back until 10 am. Tried to call to discuss matter and had no response and number was blocked so went to property as was advised by police and booking. Com to ask to see the alleged damage stood on door step for an hour before police arrived.. there was a tiny mark on carpet however was not caused by me and could have possibly been there before hand very upset as the money taken was disability allowance. I am now 100 quid down and all I can do is wait for bank to investigate this as fraud. Would definitely not advise anyone to stay here. I have attached picture of damage that I have been charged 100 quid for. Provided by police.
