Perfect accommodation for a guest with a mobility impairment - the accesability room was spacious and well equipped with a wet room which was perfect for an amputee.  The room and hotel could do with a refresh.

Needed to travel to York for family reasons at short notice. Booked private rental type accommodation but they cancelled the day prior to leaving home. Continued with travel plans due to nature of them and decided to find something else on arrival. Had trouble booking in with a cheaper competitor offering similar accommodation (because first booking had still not refunded the fully paid accommodation costs!) but Premier Inn came through quickly and efficiently, saving the day. In future we will go with Premier Inn from the onset whenever we have to have a stop over if travelling. 

Everything you needed for a trip to York only 4 miles from centre of York and designer out 10 mins drive away . Restaurants on sight were nice breakfast hot and plentiful. Loads of parking so taxi into York to do what ever you choose.overall does what you need it to do

Spent a week on a training course, location was excellent, food meal deal was good value, friendly staff (Chrissy) the server was on point. definitely a good place to stay if your on business or training at the very nearby training center. Only downside, for a hotel they didn't have the sports channels even in the bar.

Good location. Short drive to park and ride into city.  Really good chip shop (with gluten free), Chinese and coop within short walk next door. Next door to Banatynes. Interconnecting door to beefeater restaurant. Staff friendly. Super comfy room. Excellent value if booked online. Just wish they had a PayPal option. Miscommunication over payment. But resolved and very happy overall. 

Near enough to city centre free parking comfortable beds free coffee and tea breakfast as an option TV available quiet room overall fitted what we required rather than staying in the centre with no parking 

Just come home from a 2 day stay for work. All was good and must give Joseph on reception a huge thank you, he was such a lovely person and was always helpful and a great asset to the hotel. Good luck at Uni Joseph 😊

I stay here at least once a week with work and although yes its part of a huge chain that we all know and what to expect, the staff are what make this place. Always helpful and happy to help. If you are not sure where to stay on the outskirts of York this is the place. Its clean, the food is decent and they will always make you welcome. Well done guys..

Excellent service and comfortable hotel, weather very hot so air conditioning would have been good but an excellent young man on reception, sorry I didn’t get your name, managed to source lighter bedding and a fan which really made the difference, reasonably varied breakfast menu also, two large shopping centres nearby and a short drive into York 

So for one night. Greeted on arrival, staff were very helpful and friendly. Answered any questions we had and gave help where necessary. Room was fresh and clean with all expected facilities. Bed was comfortable. No pressure to leave the next day with later departure time. Staying there again next month.

Stayed here for four nights whilst exploring York. Check in was friendly and swift. Room was clean, warm and very quiet.Had breakfast on one morning, there was plenty of choice but the hot offering was disappointingly luke warm. We had a couple of evening meals which were very good. We also ate at the Wetherby Whaler which is within walking distance, the food here was excellent. There is also a chinese restaurant within walking distance which we didn't sample as it was closed on the Wednesday evening.
We used the Rawcliffe Bar Park and Ride to get into York. It is just a 5 min drive from the Premier Inn and as we have bus passes cost us just £2. 60 to park and travel into York for the day.

Great place for good sleep booked at short notice.

I have been in better more welcoming Premier Inns than this one, but it served its purpose. I slept well. I opted for the continental breakfast the 1st morning and I like fruit salad but there was none, I was told there suppliers hadn't delivered it and the Porridge was so thick you could have plastered the walls with it. 2nd day I opted for the full breakfast, I like my bacon well done, couldn't find what I wanted anywhere and the eggs looked pathetic. Overall the breakfast at this Premier In was not upto other Premier Inns i have stayed at.

weekend trip

Used this premier a few times.Has free parking which is a saving.close to Clifton moor retail park with Vue Cinema Handy.
   Park and ride bus service close by.
 Only short car ride to town centre.
 Only complaint was room we had was near a staircase and was noisy.late night and early morning.
 We did tell the receptionist when we left they said we should have specified a quiet room which was a bit of a lame response.
 No problem with the room itself.

The accommodation was quiet, clean, and close to York’s park and ride.
My wife not gripe is that Sunday breakfast was manic, with only one coffee machine, and issues stocking up in time,
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and would gladly return.

Premier inn, always a safe bet!

Getaway

Very clean and tidy, comfertable bed, staff friendly and accomodating, no major complaints.
Short drive to poppleton train station which is a handy 5 minute train journey into york city centre. 
Did not have any aircon.
Wifi was very good.
