Comfortable stay, pleasant location. Room clean and had everything needed for our one night stay. Unfortunately no bar or restaurant at present but a communal room with fridge and microwave available if needed.

There was no food available due to refurbishment of the kitchen but a staff member Toni took me in her car to the nearest Chinese takeaway - a  service above and beyond the call of duty. Very helpful friendly staff.The hotel is not actually in the town of Mold as I thought but in Northop, a few miles outside.

the outdoor area was absolutely beautiful, room was standard but perfect for how much we payed. the man we spoke to whole world there was lovely. would definitely stay there again if i ever found myself in that area again

The room was very big and clean. There was no receptionist when we arrived but the phone service worked really well. Would stay here again.

We liked the Northop Hall Hotel. The grounds are lovely, it’s got character. Nice country house. There is no breakfast or meals served. Nobody on reception, except for check ins. We found the tea/coffee in room great, and the fridge and microwave in shared dining hall useful.

For the price, brilliant.Check in was easy, room was clean and spacious, bathroom was clean and a good size. The shower was hot and a decent pressure too.The area was quiet, I saw a few other guests ranging from retired couples to a family with a young child who enjoyed running round on the lawn.Absolutely wouldn't hesitate to stay again. maybe some basic snacks for sale would be a good idea in the absence of a bar or restaurant.

Was working for a week in the area, and this was a perfect base.  Good connections to the A55 and plenty of parking at the hotel.The room had the basic amenities and a larger than usual television for such a room.Water took a short while to get warm, but once it was going the pressure and temperature was excellent.No bar or other hospitality services, but suited my situation, made for a quiet but comfortable hotel for a week.

In the whole this hotel is really good. The outdoors are beautiful n staff very helpful and friendly. The decor is very impersonal magnolia and white but it’s clean grey curtains.A few positive suggestions still: tea spoons on the complementary tray in bedroom A better kettle and bigger cups.Spare blanket in cupboardClean the mould growing around the bath.

Almost there

the character of the building blew our minds, not what we were expecting from the photos on here, the room had been recently renovated to a good standard, new carpet, fresh linen, clean towels.the staff were so attentive and helpful and didn't even get to creeped out when we bought in a prop replica of the Annabelle doll.we are looking forward to retuning especially when the renovation of the bar and restaurant is complete and open

well worth a stay, will be back in the future

I booked a three night stay at the Northop for my wife to attend a local event. She had a single room.  Suffice to say that the "noise" coming from next door was enough to make her go and sleep in the car.  After complaining to management the next morning, she was upgraded to a suite and no extra cost for the rest of her stay.  Excellent customer service, thank you.

Good overnight stay

Lovely old building with many original features. Yes, it's a little tired, but lovely white bedding and towels, excellent shower. All in all, hotel did what it needed to do!

Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds, served its purpose, a bed for the night, just a shame there was no dining or bar.
