We stayed in Farthingwood Barn for a few nights during October half term. The barn is spacious, well appointed and really comfortable; however it’s not too pristine to make you feel uncomfortable or overly concerned staying with children & a dog!! Rachael, the owner, was very friendly and really helpful. There is so much to see & do on Exmoor and around the coast, it’s s great spot. I would recommend this accommodation and happily return.

This barn conversion has been beautifully done. The accommodation is excellent with three good sized bedrooms and lots of space downstairs. The kitchen is well equipped along with washing machine and tumble dryer in the shower room. Rachael, the owner, was extremely pleasant and made us feel really welcome.
We would definitely consider staying here again, we were very impressed.

Go to North Wheddon Farm twice a year at least, it's gorgeous.  Farthingwood Barn is very spacious and real home from home.  Rachael and her family are extremely helpful and friendly.  Beautiful views and so peaceful.

We have been coming to North Wheddon Farm for years and it is always a wonderful experience. Eden Lodge suits us ideally and is very well equipped and has everything we need for a self catering holiday. The picturesque farm location is lovely and Wheddon Cross is a great base for exploring Exmoor. Rachael is so friendly and welcoming and we always look forward to our next visit.

The barn conversion is lovely. Very clean.. quiet... nicely furnished and spacious. We loved staying there. Have stayed there before some years ago. Kitchen very well equipped. Owner very helpful and easy to talk to and provided some freebies for our arrival. I have 3 dogs and they had a great week too.

It's great value and I've booked it again already for 2019. I can't speak highly enough of the place. 2 goats wandering around outside... and chickens,ducks and a fabulous goose you can feed with left overs (check with the owner what you can't and cant feed)

We stayed at North Wheddon Farm in the Barn for 4 days in late October. Rachel and her family were fabulously helpful and the greatest hosts. The place was right in Exmoor, but only 10 miles from Minehead down some single track lanes. The Barn was comfortable, welcoming and warm for our family of four with all the things you might need, including a washing machine, tumble dryer and board games!
We loved waking up and seeing the ducks, geese and pheasants wandering past the window and when we went out walking we saw goats, sheep, pigs and Exmoor ponies...our kids loved it!
We would thoroughly recommend North Wheddon Farm and will definitely stay here again!!!

A super barn and perfect for what we needed. Rachael was the perfect host with fresh bread as we arrived and local jam. The outside space was so tranquil with stunning views. For a group of 6 friends it was lovely and spacious yet cosy and welcoming. 
Thank you for a fab mini break away with glorious weather. Will definitely love to return someday soon.
