I love pie. It's a weakness. If ever I were to be captured by the enemy they would only have to wave a pie under my nose and I would tell them everything they wanted to know. It is Food of the Gods. In the Wealden hall they did a Beef & Ale pie and normally if I'm busy consuming pies I'll scoff it in three bites, but this pie was so good I had to take my time and savour it. It was absolutely delicious. It was up there with the top three pies I've eaten, and believe me, if you knew how many pies I've eaten in my lifetime, this is praise indeed. Go and eat it. Beef & Ale pie. Incredible
