505 reviewsWe had a very enjoyable 2 night stay at the Seawood Hotel. Our room was on the 2nd floor - 'Lynmouth Bay' and was exactly as described, comfortable and with fantastic views of the bay. On the first morning we had to have breakfast inside because of the weather but the second morning the sun was shining and breakfast was set outside on the terrace - made it extra special to be outside enjoying the spectacular views. We were walking a section of the South West Coast Path so the hotel was an ideal base as it's right on the coastal path. Would recommend using the Exmoor Coaster (seasonal) if you want to walk part of the coastal path and catch the bus back. The whole area is a walkers paradise with breathtaking scenery. The hotel is near the Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway which is a must if you are staying in Lynton and also a short distance from the town. Some lovely restaurants in Lynton but would recommend booking a table in the summer months. We were fortunate to get a table at Number ten and had a really nice meal. Would recommend and would definitely book again if coming back to Lynton.
