Lovely old Victorian property in a fantastic location. Admittedly condition a little tired but that’s part of its charm. We had a very warm welcome and pleasantly surprised when we had our room upgraded to a sea view free of charge. The room and bed were very clean and comfy and it had a nice view towards lynmouth. Very convenient location for the shops, eateries and walks. Not much in the way of car parking, but found it very easy to park in a pay and display nearby, then get a 4 day voucher for £15. Unfortunately no bar or food in the hotel, but you can get a very nice breakfast in the greenhouse restaurant across the street. Plenty of places nearby to eat and drink.Had a very pleasant long weekend, didn’t need to use the car at all. Great value for money stay.
