A great place to stay if you need to visit family. My family is leaving just across the road and we found this place really convenient. The price was good ,room spacious and clean.Staff was lovely,specially the girl serving breakfast, she was really friendly with my kids,they did not have to pay for breakfast as kids eats free.I will definitely comeback to stay again.

Convenient

Probably the best price room you'll get in the area. Just leave your key card in a drop box to check out any time. Room basic, uncomfortable and shabby but you do get tea and coffee. Send to be used by a lot of trade workers. You may need to wait for service if any kind. There were plenty of spaces in the car park, which was £3 or free for disabled (park in any spot but given them your reg at reception)

Best price but basic

We stayed at this hotel for the night before our flight. Our room was clean and comfortable and the price was reasonable .We did the meal deal for dinner and breakfast at the hotel too, and this was great value,the kids have it free. We drove only ten minutes to the airport . The car park in Travelodge was a bit busy but we managed to find a parking space and a very good price ,discounted by the hotel.This is a great service and we will definitely use it again.

Great before flight.

I am a frequent Travelodge guests staying at many properties for recreation 
This was my first and last stay at the Luton property. I had booked a Sunday night stay as our office were having their late, late Christmas 🎄 lunch in Luton 
I booked my room, breakfast and dinner as well as 24hrs internet
From arrival o checked in the lady didn’t welcome  me make chit chat how was my journey nothing pushed my room key over her job done 
Took to the lift where the panels were ripped off and in danger of taking a kids eye out or cutting and adults hand 
Room was clean and in good order
The best was yet to come at breakfast I sat down around 8am .i waited 15 minutes to be seated as no one on the door which told me to wait to be seated
Food for cooked breakfast was plentiful but lukewarm not hot worst being the scrambled eggs they were in a lump and on the plate tasteless
By this time shortly after 8am staff ladies I assumed to be HK staff arrived in their winter coats went  behind the bar one by one to the coffee machine for their hot drinks
That looks so unprofessional to guests like me having my breakfast 
Finally sorry I have gone on another blond haired lady sat in full sight of the bar on a fridge or something similar on her mobile phone
Travelodge Luton you should be ashamed to be part of this brand

Don’t bother

I always choose this hotel and I will definitely go back there soon/very comfortable mattresses, clean and warm! Very nice service and always a good price worth the stay😊also close to Luton airport and good connections to London!

Great price! Clean worm room !

Very attentive and helpful full staff. I must say I was double minded as it was next to the motor way but the Cornillia took extra time and to find a best suited room for me as I’m light sleeper. I also told her about few other staff and she went out of the way to help me. I’m very great full and will definitely be back without any hesitation. Thank you Cornillia for your great hospitality. 

Surprised after one stay..

Paid for late check out at 2pm. Housekeeping knock on the door at 11:45am (while we were still sleeping) to see if we’re checking out and suddenly enter the room instead of waiting for us to answer - the ‘do not disturb’ sign was on the door too! 

Then an alarm went off in our room around 12:10pm.

We couldn’t get back to sleep after being woken up by housekeeping. 

The reception desk was closed when we checked out so couldn’t complain to anyone.

Very disappointing after checking in at 3:30am. 

Don’t book late check out

I have stayed here for nearly a week now and the management staff is amazing, we extend our nights regularly and the manager is very helpful and convenient. I get my room cleaned and cleaning staff are also friendly. Would definitely recommend!!

Excellent!

There is security in the hotel for some reason, it felt unsafe, the layout isn’t clear and it smelt. The towels smelt rotten too and I would NOT stay at this Travelodge again. I haven’t had this problem with other Travelodges before so I know it is just this one. 

Unsafe and smelly

I don't think it's appropriate to have to pay for on-site parking, in addition to the hotel cost. The Reception staff were very unpleasant. The room was below par, and it was disgusting to find other guests hair in the sink and shower. The Cafe Bar's food was horrible. I ordered a hamburger, and the meet was processed(not real). I had 2 bites, and the middle was ice cold. No apology was given. I returned it and asked for my money back. The Bar Staff were irritated with me. The only good thing about this hotel was the location to the airport.
