Leman Locke is one of the best places I’ve stayed in London — it perfectly blends the comfort of an apartment with the style and service of a boutique hotel. The location in Aldgate is ideal: just a couple of minutes’ walk from Aldgate East and Aldgate stations, which makes getting around the city simple. It’s also walking distance to Tower Bridge, Spitalfields Market, Brick Lane, and the City — so whether you’re here for sightseeing, business, or food and nightlife, you’re in the right spot. The apartments themselves are beautifully designed. Instead of feeling like a generic hotel room, the space has personality: pastel tones, clever lighting, and thoughtful touches that make it warm and inviting. My studio had a fully equipped kitchen with everything from a dishwasher to a washer/dryer, which made it feel truly self-contained — perfect if you’re staying longer or want the flexibility to cook. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the living area felt like a true home rather than just somewhere to sleep. Facilities are another highlight. There’s a 24-hour gym, a café and bar downstairs, and stylish co-working spaces that make it just as suitable for remote workers as for holidaymakers. I also appreciated the laundry facilities and the fact that the building is dog-friendly — rare in central London. Everything is spotless and well-maintained, and the overall vibe is very modern and creative. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Every interaction I had was warm and professional, from check-in to check-out. They’re clearly proud of the property and happy to help with anything, which makes the experience feel even more personal. If you’re looking for a London stay that combines location, design, and practicality, Leman Locke is a brilliant choice. It’s not just a hotel; it’s a stylish home base in one of London’s most vibrant neighbourhoods. I’ll definitely be back.
