An old hotel which takes you back in time, which makes it very different from the others in the area, yes it could do with an upgrade but only if it were to retain its old character, was so taken by the character and history of the building I didn't notice much or care about its flaws. I loved sitting on the balcony in the evening watching over Bayswater road as the world went by. I believe its been family owned for years but was told that they live out in the Country now and don't visit it much now. I would love to stay there again.
