The Resident Kensington

I had a relaxing, three-day stay at this hotel as a stopover from The USA to Turkmenistan. Its location was ideal for me, not only because of its central location but also because of a short walk to Earl's Court tube station. From here it is just four stops on the District Line to Victoria Station and the Gatwick Express. My room was a standard double. It was very clean with high-end amenities. The size of the room can be described as compact but the well- planned layout, including a discreet kitchenette (with a microwave), compensated for the desire of more space. After all, who needs to 'swing a cat' these days! The hotel staff were very courteous and efficient. Any requests were dealt with promptly and effectively. Booking well in advance and with the membership discount can contribute to an affordable stay for this part of London in a superior hotel.
