We had a great four day break. So comfortable and spacious room. Great breakfast and very helpful hosts. Morlyn is close to a lovely beach and Harlech is just around the corner. Would highly recommend this place..

Fabulous place to stay Marie Claire and Chris are the perfect hosts.
Room was delightful with great views and the most comfortable armchairs to  enjoy the view. Then when you thought it couldn’t get better you have a large balcony to fully relax 

Lovely weekend away, room was very comfortable with all amenities and Marie Claire and Chris looked after me very well. Breakfasts and evening meals were perfect, even for a fussy vegetarian. Love this area and it was great to be back.

We stopped in room 4 and room 1. Both rooms set out with everything you need and plenty of it. Both Marie Claire and Chris made us so welcome and couldn’t do enough for us, after having to cancel due to lockdowns and reschedule they were so helpful and understanding. The rooms are so comfortable, clean and the breakfasts were vast, good quality ingredients, could not fault them in any way. My mother loved the home made marmalade. 
Knowing we could go away and take our labrador  with us, who was also made welcome, was so reassuring as he is one of the family, and when family haven’t got room this was the perfect location for us to stay. Great walks in the area for both the energetic and gentle short walks, best of both worlds. We couldn’t recommended the Morlyn Guest House enough.

We spent a wonderful week here in mid to late September and enjoyed every minute of it. We were very well looked after by Marie Claire and Chris and had a marvellous spacious room overlooking the Rhinog hills. The balcony was the perfect spot to enjoy the morning sun, sit down to the delicious full Welsh breakfast and relax after a day on the beach with a G&T! Morlyn is well placed for walks to Harlech with its awesome castle and beach as well as to Llanbedr, Shell Island and Rhaeadr Nantcol waterfalls.  Thank you for a wonderful and memorable holiday!

Chris and Marie-Claire were excellent hosts who cannot do enough for you, very friendly and helpful couple. We stayed in room 4 which has wonderful views with a balcony. The room is well laid out, spacious and spotless with a generous hospitality tray and small fridge. The breakfast is of high quality and plentiful. The area is quiet and peaceful.....perfect for a restful break.

Visited several times in the 90’s and returned to reminisce. Just as good. Clean and comfortable. Wonderful scenery, walks and lovely new hosts. Good beach . Will be returning more frequently . Can’t reccommend highly enough.

We have just enjoyed a really lovely staycation at this place. Marie Claire and Chris were perfect hosts. Gave us lots of information on the area and even had a little nightcap with us sat outside. The area was perfect for us, lots of nice scenic walks, 5 min walk to the beach and a short walk to Harlech. The room was pleasant, clean and comfortable. The view outside our room was lovely, especially accompanied by a lovely welsh breakfast, the veggie option was perfect.
We will definitely be back 

We ended our excursion through the UK here and it was the perfect place to rest and recharge before our trip home. Steve and Lisa were wonderful and serve up great breakfasts and dinners.

Our room's deck had an awesome view over sheep fields and onto the hills of Snowdonia, and three different types of beaches were within a short walking distance! (long sandy beach on the way to Harlech, a rocky beach nearby, and a silty inlet just past the 5th century church)

The village is very quiet and we also got to meet Percy (cat) and Molly (dog)!

What a great find this was x.  Lovely room with every facility within it x.  Nice touch was the small fridge with jug of milk and complimentary water x

Gorgeous coffee x big breakfast and genuinely lovely down to earth couple Steve and Lisa x.  We felt so at home here that mr Bailey fell asleep at 8.30 ! Too relaxing x.   And great location x

Just back today and I have to say it was the friendliest guest house we have stayed in , from the minute we walked through the door to leaving we felt at home ! We spent 2 lovely nights there ! Wish we could of stayed longer ! The apartment was fantastic , the views beautiful ,the breakfast well wow ! We will 100 % be going back

So welcomming

This is our favourite B&B in the Harlech/Barmouth area. Lisa & Steve are great hosts and cook really great food. We stayed in room 3 which has stunning views to the mountains and the coast from the first floor balcony.  The room was spotless and with a fully equipped kitchen, you have the option to be self catering if staying for more than one night. We decided to have dinner and chose the rib eye steak and the sea bass, both of which were cooked to perfection. After a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed, we had an excellent breakfast before heading to Harlech beach.  This is a real gem and is a must for anyone looking for dog friendly accommodation. Will definitely return. Thanks for a great stay 😀

A Warm Welcome

Thank you Lisa and Steve for such a pleasent stay !!! The rooms are terrific , little appartements , so clean and such a good vibe. The view from the rooms are amazing! The food is home cooked with the heart, I’d wished I could eat with you every day ! Besides that the scenery in Llandanwg are beautiful and you are such lovely people , felt like home and I will defenitly come back again! Lot’s of love Irma

Superb stay in this little gem in Llandanwg

We stayed here in March it was a birthday treat from my daughter and son in law for my hubby.... what can I say except amazing!!! This guest house has everything you need, we stayed in an upstairs apartment I believe it’s self catering, although we were bed and breakfast, 2 large bedrooms, bathroom, living area with kitchenette, everywhere was spotlessly clean and the view from the balcony stunning,  on the one side beautiful mountain views and at the end of the balcony stunning sea view, I absolutely loved sitting on the sofa looking out at the mountains and watching the sheep and lambs.
I was concerned to learn that it’s a dog friendly place as not keen on animal smells/hair.... I needn’t have been concerned as I have previously said it was spotless.
The breakfast was delicious the cold buffet extensive and the hot food piping hot and delicious.
The guesthouse is a stones throw from the beach and train station.
Our hosts Lisa and Steve were fantastic couldn’t do enough for us.
All in all a fantastic weekend, my daughter and son in law return year after year and we will also definitely be back 👍
