Anne was a lovely host! The farm is beautiful, the breakfast was good, and we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful place, spotlessly clean and Breakfast was amazing , I had a fantastic nights sleep. Very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.thank you Anne

We love staying here…. The peace…… the friendliness…. The comfort…. The wonderful breakfast…. The only thing that was not so nice was the road out from the A915, but we heard that‘s being corrected soon.

Excellent place for peace and quiet.  Host was very friendly.  A little remote, but it was close enough to nearby golf courses.

A much needed short break, but sadly had to cut short because of illness.

Anne and her family took as on for a night and from a start she is there for you .Her daughter has helped in the evening and was happy to accommodate anything I needed.You sense welcoming warmth and attention to detail as house is beautiful decorated and clean .Scenery is amazing and so much open space.Deers was passing through the fields.You can sense professionalism as Anne has been in hospitality for years.Highly recommended.Breakfast is cooked to perfection and lots of options.

Situated in a rural part of Fife that is beautiful and tranquil. Very comfortable and clean facilities and the host, Anne, is so welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Amazing area of beauty and wonderful people

Excellent place to stay! Very friendly hostess (Anne) who made us feel right at home. Spotless room (& house for that matter), and everything worked as it should. Great breakfast with fresh duck eggs and 3 types of sausage! Location was OK being only about 15-20 minutes from Saint Andrews, but be prepared for some typically Scottish skinny roads/lanes on the way there.

Great B&B!

The farm is away from it all and overlooks the pond, ducks and countryside beyond. To get to this lovely location you do have to drive half a mile up a narrow track. Anne was friendly and welcoming. The rooms spotless. Breakfast was so good, with fresh duck eggs if you fancy.
A lovely relaxed atmosphere.
The reason it doesn’t get a well deserved 5, for value for money if nothing else, is that the bed was the firmest I have ever attempted to sleep on. We struggled to get a comfortable nights sleep which was such a shame.

Lovely B&B, good value for money, would be a 5 if only the bed was more comfortable.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Balhousie B&B! Rooms were cosy and the views were lovely! Our host Anne was very welcoming and made sure we were well looked after! The breakfast was delicious; especially the duck eggs from their own ducks! I would definitely come and stay again! The photo is the view from the bedroom window.

If I came back to this area I wouldn’t hesitate to book this B and B again.
Anne was a fantastic host who was very polite and helpful.
I loved the duck pond and spent most of my evening just relaxing and watching all different types of nature.
The room was perfect and comfortable with everything you need.
The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty, I would highly recommend this B and B.

Fantastic experience

Had the absolute pleasure of staying at Balhousie Farm on our way back from the Orkneys. Both Anne & Jim are wonderful hosts who went over and above to make our stay as nice as possible. The rooms were spotless, beds comfy and Anne makes perfect poached eggs! If you would like an idylic place to stay with interesting and friendly hosts get booking.

Anne, who runs the accommodation side of the farm's business, is attentive, helpful and thoughtful and made my stay enjoyable. Spent four nights there and found it easy to get to all corners of Fife in under an hour. I was one of the first guests to visit following relaxation of covid regulations and the isolation practices worked well with the small groups of guests being served breakfast at separate times. My room was generously sized, uncluttered, spotlessly clean with plenty of wardrobe space and a pleasant view of the garden and local countryside. Hard to beat for a straighforward stay.

Peaceful rural base from which to explore Fife

Beautiful views overlooking the duck pond and countryside with rare treat of seeing wildlife first hand. The whole stay from start to finish was wonderful. What more can we say... if you're looking for the prefect B&B I couldn't recommend any higher. Anne the host was most helpful with local knowledge and places to visit. Not far from St. Andrews which is a must. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Excellent 4 night stay

Spent three days here with my partner, the facilities were great (lots of plugs and mirrors which every woman needs). The addition of a ceiling fan was a nice touch when it was a little hotter. Lovely views over the fields next door. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of toast, fresh coffee, fresh strawberries and we opted for the delicious Scottish breakfast complete with lorne sausage (which was new to me) and duck egg. Great place to explore the local coast and we managed to get into Edinburgh pretty easily from a local train station too. Our hosts were really friendly and accommodating during our stay and we felt really comfortable. Would definitely return.
