I booked it for my parents due to the proximity to many wonderful towns and attractions down near Lands end, they had such a wonderful time and couldn’t speak highly enough of the hosts.

Two night stop on a tour of Cornwall. Very convenient for St Michael's Mount. Little Pengelly Farm is the epitome of what a good B&B should be like. The room, breakfast were both excellent. The gardens were lovely too. Would recommend without hesitation.

An outstanding property which was extremely clean and peaceful. A warm welcome from the hosts who were friendly and informative throughout, offering advice on sightseeing.  A delicious breakfast with a full choice and extras if required. The best bath ever.  It felt like home. Thank you 😊

The place where we stayed was very calm and relaxing. The staff were amazing and the breakfast was freshly cooked and using locally sourced produce. I would highly recommend Pengelly farm . Absolutely 10/10

We had a wonderful stay at Little Pengelly Farm. It is conveniently located half way between the north and south coast of western Cornwall. Robert and Maxine were very accommodating and easily arranged our late check in with clear instructions. They gave us lots of local knowledge and advice where to see and eat. Room was very clean and a good size with a huge comfortable bed. There was a good variety of breakfast each morning and the cooked Cornish breakfast was delicious. Very quiet and rural location with beautiful gardens. Ample parking with electric car power points. Highly recommend and we would definitely return.

Little Pengelly Farm was a treat. The room was comfortable and spacious - the only room left when we booked was the family room which had a small attached room with a single bed. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. A spacious shower stall enclosed with a full door. Breakfast was wonderful (fresh kippers available on request) and Maxine was very helpful with figuring out our itinerary of things to do. Her enthusiasm for the area was contagious. The location was just right to explore the area. Land’s End 45 minutes drive away; Lizard Point 30 minutes

We had a really nice stay at this B&B.  The room was comfortable and spacious enough. The tub and shower were great.  The place was very clean.  The grounds of the property were beautiful; lots of flowers in June... and wild pheasants wandering around.  The hostess was engaging and easy to talk to, very helpful with suggestions of places to visit and where to eat.  Fantastic breakfast, as well.  We wished we had been able to stay another night, and we'll choose this place again if we return to the area in the future.

Met all expectations and more

LOvely quiet place to stay. Our double ensuite room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was very clean with step in Shower and non slip shower mat, shower stool and little toiletries. The gardens were pretty and ample parking.  The breakfast was served in the conservatory with choice of cereals, fruit yoghurts etc. Then a very nice english cooked breakfast, not greasy!  Served with toast and tea or coffee. Jams and marmaldes etc.  Overal a delightful place to stay with very nice hosts. Would highly recommend snd we will be back !

Delightful stay

Needed somewhere to stay and decided against a town,  and this was an excellent choice.  The ensuite room was decorated to a high standard and the furnishings and bathroom fittings were of the highest quality.  The room was warm and we were well provided with tea and coffee, washing up liquid and tea towel and toiletries. Plenty of drawer and hanging space and exceptionally good broadband. 
Breakfast was served next door in a conservatory overlooking the garden and the meadows beyond,  with a reasonable selection of fruit, yoghurt and cereals and then the option of breakfast cooked to order. The standard of the cooked food was exceptional.  Maxine was an excellent hostess and chatted to us whilst Robert cooked the breakfast.  
The  location is well placed to visit many eateries in Porthleven, Helston and beyond. Maxine even told us to pick some of the daffodils on site, on our day of leaving as we were visiting the crematorium in Truro.  We would recommend this B &B to anyone and will certainly visit again when in the area.



Great find with exceptional 4 day stay

excellent stay .three of us stay at pengelli for two nights on friday to sunday , the hosts were v friendly and made our stay v enjoyable. the breakfast was also great fresh cooked breakfast and fresh jam .we opted for veg breakfast and enjoyed it .all workers at pengeli are very friendly and happy to do what they can to make your stay enjoyable.

What an absolute little gem. We were so lucky to find this amazing B&B. Robert made us very welcome despite our late arrival. The room was immaculate, breakfast was perfect, all staff really friendly. The setting is quiet and peaceful just what we needed. Lots of recommendations for places to visit and eat.
We will certainly return.

Short Break

My husband and I stayed in a room in the farmhouse with our own private bathroom along the corridor. The bed was huge and comfy. The linen all lovely and clean and looked brand new. The bathroom was light and airy and the shower was lovely and hot after a day of walking the coastal paths. Breakfast was served in a light and airy conservatory overlooking the garden. Maxine made us feel very welcome and went out of her way to make sure we were well catered for. The cooked breakfast was superb 10/10.Maxine was a great hostess. She was happy to chat and pass on information about local attractions and things to do in the area. We would definitely recommend to family and friends and hope to return again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A great break away

This really was a lovely place to stay. Maxine and Robert were so friendly.
We stayed in the Studio, 3 adults and a 9 year old. Everything we needed was supplied to ensure we were comfortable for our 6 night stay.
perfect location to visit Cornwalls amazing beaches and we were so blessed with wonderful weather. This was my first visit to Cornwall for 42 years but we will definetly return and stay in this beautiful accomadation.
Maxine's Jam and Cream Scones were to die for.

Lovely place for our weeks stay.

Lovely place to stay with Maxine and Robert being wonderful hosts breakfast was lovely. The double en-suite room that we stayed in was lovely clean and up to date with tea coffee bottled water, shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom . Lovely and  Quiet location with Ample parking nice and relaxing. Will definitely be back.
