Had a fantastic stay in Premier Inn Cumbernauld, was checked in by Karen and she was informative and pleasant, I stayed in room 114 which was clean and comfy, I also had a great restaurant experience for evening meal, although the restaurant was quiet, I had a lovely dinner and was served by Iain, I think he was the manager as he was very knowledgeable,  the check out process was also simple and when leaving I was greeted with Nikki who ensured my stay was perfect, the hotel does need some renovations but the staff alone make this place worthwhile, would recommend to anyone

Stayed with family for a few days and have a great experience. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Ate at the restaurant a couple of times and enjoyed the experience. Overall a very good hotel with excellent staff. Would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay

Had a great experience in my stay here. Staff were very friendly and polite. I stay in premier inns often and the restaurant had good options compared to the old beefeater and the food tasted amazing! The staff explained the allergy awareness very well. My room was very clean and I very much enjoyed my stay! I’ll be back

The service from the staff was great. Even though the kitchen had been closed throughout my stay for dinner time, the service which was provided at breakfast was second to none. The hotel staff throughout the my stay couldn’t have been more helpful which was fantastic.

We were visiting family in Cumbernauld and this hotel was in the perfect location. Arriving late on a Friday night after a 4 hour drive reception quickly had us checked in. Room was extremely comfortable, with a BeefEater next door for breakast, lunch and dinner but also a wide range of takeaways and the shopping mall all within a short walking distance. The shower was luxurious, especially after the chilly parkrun at Palacerigg Country Park. Will definitely be returning.

A nice five night stay at this Premier Inn. It was clean and the staff were friendly. It is very conveniently situated for the town centre and places to eat. The room was spacious and had comfortable beds.

we try stay here evertime we are in scotland as my family live near by. we always book a disabled room but this time they didnt have any available so the kind receptionist put me near reception so i didnt have stairs to climb or didnt have to walk far and then 2 days into our 5 night stay we were able to transfer into disabled room. staff will do everything they can to make sure you are ok 

Just checked out after a 3 night stay and had a fantastic break. The hotel is in the perfect place if you are planning on visiting Glasgow but not wanting to pay high city centre prices. The rooms are clean staff friendly and restaurant is the exact same. Would definitely return again in the future 

have been staying here for over 8 weeks, as I have been working away. From day 1 till now everyone has been excellent. First, you meet the staff EXCELLENT all of them, Room is a good size, the Bed is excellent, Good size TV, Shower/bath are excellent as well.  Beefeater next door food is excellent, also breakfast is cooked to order which does make a big difference, also excellent. Can't say  anything back about this hotel

Greeted by Rosanne on arrival, offered to help with our luggage and the buggy , friendly receptionist. The receptionist over the weekend was very informative too sorry I couldn’t see your name tag. Overall great hotel, very clean, spacious rooms, All staff were great polite and friendly.

Fantastic staff, wonderful stay

Kind staff, great food and lovely room

I have reviewed Premier Inn's before as they are our first choice when booking a hotel in Britain, as you know what you are getting. We also like the fact that you have a bath in the ensuite not just a shower. Having said that, Premier Inn's are getting quite expensive so unless we get one at a reasonable price we don't stay in them.
This was our second visit to the Cumbernauld Premier Inn. We were checked in by Darci who was friendly, chatty and helpful and deserves some praise. Extra teabags, coffee sachets and milk pods are available at reception.
Our room (number 12) was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the cleaners do a good job. The only issue with the room was that one bedside light did not work. We did not realise this until getting into bed so did not bother to get dressed to go and report it.
Breakfast was very good, although there was no skimmed milk which I would have liked. All breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. I did not get all their names but we were mainly served by Hannah who was cheerful and pleasant.
When checking out there was no one on reception so we just put our key cards in the box provided. However, management please note: one bedside light in room 12 requires a new bulb.
We would definitely stay in the Cumbernauld Premier Inn again.

Couldn’t be better

myself & my girlfriend paid £45 for a double room the night after Valentine’s. we got Room 205. 

we noticed just after checking in that the carpets were needing a quick runaround with a hoover on the stairs and hallways. the hotel does seem to be in dire need of a refurbishment also. 

our room was fine for the price. we did have some paint peeling off the walls and the television remote was taped together but was overall okay. the shower head was extremely clean - don’t know if this had just been replaced for a new one. 

I sleep with a medium-firm mattress at home but felt the mattress in the room was too hard/uncomfortable. I didn’t have a great sleep but my girlfriend did. we woke up to the cleaner blaring music outside our room which I thought was extremely unprofessional (you could have consideration and wear earphones if you wish to listen to music whilst on shift). 

there are many takeaways surrounding the hotel - Greggs, Subway, Domino’s, Burger King, Taco Bell etc. 

overall, wouldn’t return as we don’t like Cumbernauld as an area itself & don’t like being woken up to music if we are trying to have some form of a lie-in.
