Lovely B&B in a central location. We were greeted by a gentlemen who was very friendly, gave us all the information for our stay and trip. We were shown to our car parking space (free) at the back of the building. The double room was spacious and had a comfy bed. The room has views of Catbells. Breakfast was lovely and there was a large choice of options including gluten free. We stayed two nights and had a pleasant stay. Thank you

This Guesthouse is owned by the hotel next door and this is where you check in and have breakfast.  Excellent stay, friendly knowledgeable staff, lovely clean room overlooking Crow Park, delicious home cooked breakfast.  Will stay here again

The welcome from Alison and Barry was warm and friendly. They gave us recommendations on where to eat in the evenings and the breakfast was very good and plentiful. Lovely large room with en-suite shower room which was clean and comfortable. We stayed in ‘Catbells’ room and the view was amazing over Hope park and looking onto Catbells. There was private parking which was well arranged by the host.

We have just returned from a two night stay at this lovely B&B. It has a pretty frontage and lovely garden with outside seating and stunning views. The whole place is spotless. Our room was very good with a comfortable bed and modern on suite. The breakfast was fantastic and the omelettes were very good indeed as were the poached eggs. It is situated in a central area facing the park and a short distance from the centre. A well run establishment with lovely hosts.

Very good experience would definitely recommend the hosts were very helpful and the breakfast we’re good.
The room was very nice and clean the bathroom was good the b&b is in a great position over looking the park ,looking forward to staying again 

I’ve just returned from a lovely weekend in Keswick where my friend and I had the pleasure of staying at Brundholme. We come to Keswick for the festival every year so it’s fair to say we’ve tried many B&Bs and this one is up there with the best. In fact, when you factor in the genuine warmth and friendliness of Alison and Barry, it IS the best! We’ve had some grumpy hosts in the past, which can really put a dampener on the stay. Not here though; Alison and Barry are absolutely lovely and couldn’t do enough to help us. Barry even made us a lovely pot of freshly brewed coffee foc whilst we were waiting to be picked up after we’d checked out. 
The rooms were spotless and very comfortable and, like everyone else has said, the views were amazing too. I’d definitely stay here again.

We have just returned from another great weekend in Keswick and this time we had the genuine pleasure of staying with Alison and Barry. Everything about this little guest house is superb. The hospitality from both Barry and Alison was second to none, the breakfast was outstanding as was the service offered by Alison. We genuinely could not have wanted for more. To top it al we had amazing views over Catbells from our bedroom. Thank you so much!! We are frequent visitors to Keswick and there will only be one place we stay from now on.

The weather outside was frightful having arrived just as Storm Barra was making an appearance. The warm welcome from Alison and Barry made up for it though and what a cosy couple of nights we had at Brundholme.
We try to visit at least once a year. The views from the bedrooms are amazing it doesn't matter which room you're allocated although we do prefer being on the front looking over Catbells.
Breakfast is something we especially look forward to. My husband always has an omelette at least one morning( Barry's speciality and so tasty)
The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. Loads of hot water for a much needed shower after walking the hills. 5 mins walk down to Hope Park or into the town. About 15 mins from the lakeside. Although we do walk slow through the park there is so much to look at. 
Loads to do even on a rainy day. Plenty of walking direct from the doorstep you don't even need to use the car. There is parking at the rear of the house.

my husband and I stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate my birthday.  The b+b itself is centrally located, 5 - 10 minutes walk to anywhere you need to be - Keswick Launch, Booths / Bus stop, main shopping street, etc. I'm so glad we chose to stay here. Barry and Allison gave us a very warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. cooked and cold breakfast was generous. Allison was incredibly friendly and bubbly - it really felt like we were being welcomed into their home and not into their business.  She was always ready with a recommendation on things to do and places to see in Keswick and the surrounding area.  I mentioned it was my birthday, in passing, and when my husband and I got back to our room, there was a lovely birthday card waiting for me, which I thought was a thoughtful touch.  No matter which room you stay in, you're guaranteed a great view, which only added to the experience.  the property and the location were very very quiet, which only helped us to relax and unwind after a long day of hiking and sight seeing.  Allison and Barry - you're the gold standard of what a host should be and we look forward to our next trip to the Lakes and to Brundholme xxx

I am so happy that I chose to stay at Brundholme B&B. As a lone traveller I felt very  safe staying here. The interior decorations are tastefully done. The views of Catbells from the room I stayed in were simply breathtaking!

The facilities including the ensuite, bed, TV and Wi-Fi were great. There is also handy off-road parking. There was a large breakfast menu, and mine was cooked to perfection both mornings. Alison and Barry are absolutely lovely hosts.

The B&B is conveniently located in a quiet spot with less than a 5 minute walk to both Derwnt Water, and Keswick town. Just perfect!

Thank you for a wonderful trip, I wish I could have stayed longer, and will definitely be back some day.

Lovely stay!

We rated this 8/10.

This was a nice place to stay, we got a car park space outside. The location is very very good, very central to the town. Only a short walk to pubs, supermarkets, shops and restaurants. Lovely views of the Catbells through the bedroom window. 

The only thing we would say is the room needed a full length mirror, we couldn’t both get ready at the same time. There’s only a small mirror in the bathroom. The bathroom could also do a with a good deep clean. 

Apart from that we had a pleasant stay and the man who checked us in was very helpful and gave us advice in directions to hike the Catbells. Room was cleaned after one nights stay with clean towels and bedding. The beds were also really comfortable which is what you need after a long hike. Breakfast was also nice.

Lovely owners, fantastic facilities, tasty breakfast and spectacular views!

We had an amazing time at Brundholme B&B in Keswick, it rescued us from a pretty dire stay elsewhere in the country and it certainly lived up to its 5* reviews! Amazing breakfast, cooked to perfection, lovely room (with a massive and comfortable bed) and shower, location is perfect - only 5 minutes walk to the Lake and 2 minutes into town, has on-street parking outside and lovely, friendly owners. We will definitely be back next time we are in the Lakes! Cannot recommend this place enough.
