We had a couple of days in Keswick to celebrate my 65th birthday and stopped at Glendale Guest House, the hosts were lovely, chatty people and made you very welcome. The guest house was spotless. The food, beautiful and well cooked. The guest house is in an ideal location and very close to the town centre. Parking a bit of a pain, but not bad at this time of year, I expect they get a few complaints in the summer but that is not their fault, when the house was built there were not that many cars about. I would recommend this guest house to anyone who is looking for a couple of days in the Lakes.
