Had a wonderful few days in Keswick staying at the Beckside Guesthouse. Tracey and Andrew were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything you could wish for. The breakfast each day was delicious and the owners always found time to chat and give recommendations where to go. The guesthouse is in a quiet area of Keswick and only short walk into the town centre. Fitz Park is beautiful and just round the corner. We’ll certainly stay here again in the future.

An amazing guest house, spotlessly clean, superb breakfast and the hosts Tracey and Andrew were really pleasant, very friendly and accommodating.  Can't recommend highly enough. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. We stayed here for three nights in June 2024.

What an absolutely brilliant guest house. This was our first time staying here,it certainly won't be our last.
Everything was perfect, all the little homely bits, the cleanliness,the welcoming Tracey was so lovely and nothing was too much, the room was so comfortable and had everything you need and more,the location was perfect,just 5 min walk into town ,and the breakfast was first class,and presented lovely...

Just got back from our 3rd stay at the Beckside. It’s a delightful B & B, perfectly positioned on the edge of Keswick town centre. Andrew and Tracey are the perfect hosts and really can’t do enough for you. The hearty breakfasts are beautifully cooked and the fruit platter is amazing. The guesthouse is absolutely spotless. It’s the cleanest place I’ve stayed in and I wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else in Keswick. We will certainly be back!

A weekend break with some of the lads and the owners were happy to accommodate the group. We were very happy with the rooms which were spotless . The bed was very comfortable and I slept well both nights.  Breakfast was exceptional and there was plenty on the plate as well ! Excellent hosts and I would not hesitate to recommend this guest house to anyone who wishes to visit keswick . 10/10

The hotel was spotless, every little detail was considered. The food and presentation was exceptional. The hosts were friendly and did everything to make sure you have a pleasant stay. Throughly recommend this place. Has the bonus that it is a short walk into town with beautiful countryside to walk in.

First time in Keswick and staying here made it even better. Tracey and Andrew were so accommodating and friendly. They gave us great tips of where to eat, what to do and where to grab lake shoes. The room was really clean and cosy. We loved the mini marshmallows and hot chocolate!! The breakfast on both days were delicious and the attention to detail was amazing. I have stayed at Beckside a few times and it is my place of choice when visiting Keswick. The greeting from Tracey & Andrew made me feel at home in an instant. My room as ever was super clean & really comfortable. The breakfast remains exceptional good quality ingredients cooked to perfection.  I cannot recommend Beckside highly enough.

A fabulous place to stay with a warm and friendly atmosphere and every need catered for. Spotlessly clean and couldn’t fault the attention to detail, everything was carefully thought about and nothing was too much trouble. The little touches in the room and at breakfast were so considerate and everything I could have needed for a walking weekend in The Lakes was thought of. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The quality of service from Andrew & Tracey was exceptional, they go above and beyond to make your stay fantastic.
The attention to detail both within the room and at the breakfast table is amazing.
Breakfast is like a feast and cooked to perfection. I would recommend the fresh fruit tray as well.
Their local knowledge of the area and surrounding area is excellent, it helped make our trip, when they said use the local bus service. We were able to see so much more, instead of being stuck in a car and also then having to find parking.
If you want to be pampered then, you need to go here.
There was nothing we did not like, they excelled in every way.

Above and beyond service at Beckside Guest House

Stayed for two nights on a short break with post-GCSE daughter. Has instantly become my favourite Keswick guesthouse. Owners are super-friendly and helpful; we got rained on during both our big walks and the owners dried off all our wet stuff. Also full of good suggestions for places to eat in town including The Crafty Baa, Kingfisher chippy and the Dog and Gun. Lovely atmosphere at breakfast with everyone chatting together. And fab breakfast too. Molly recommends the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Will definitely be back.
