Lynwood Guest House

We arrived to a warm and friendly welcome from Paul on the Friday afternoon. Our friends had the ground floor room, which they loved. We had the Amy Winehouse room on the first floor at the front of the property. I don't think we've ever had a more comfortable bed with big fluffy pillows. There was a nice big walk in shower in the en-suite bathroom. The bedroom itself was huge compared to some we have experienced in Keswick, I know you only spend minimal time there but it was good to have so much space. There was always plenty of milk cartons along with tea, coffee and sugar, something we always appreciate in a B&B. The breakfasts were superb. all freshly cooked and with a wide choice, definitely something to suite every palate at breakfast time. We found Melissa and Paul excellent hosts, Paul has a wicked sense of humour and Melissa came into the dining room each morning for a friendly chat with us before we went out walking. We can highly recommend this excellent B&B and we will definitely be looking to return in the near future as long as they do have a vacancy for us. Thank you both for looking after us so well.
