A nice B&B with self-check in and check out.  Rooms, though tiny, were adequate and well maintained.  A few parking spots just in front of the property offering free parking was great.  Shops & restaurants near by.  Very convenient for a short stop over during our trip exploring the Scottish countryside.  

An excellent option at Portree!

Cosy room in the middle of town close to pubs, restaurants, supermarkets. View from the room across the harbour and bay is beautiful.

The views from the property are second to none. Cleanliness is excellent, communication good and all staff pleasant and friendly. The only downside is the size of the rooms, they are tiny, as are the ensuites. Also, as there are no communal rooms or kitchen facilities, a small fridge in the room would have been handy.

Little house on the side of a very busy street. Small room, very expensive: 200 GBD per night without breakfast. No breakfast on site and not nearby. Very few parking spaces and unfriendly manager. Unfortunately we had booked three nights. I really don't recommend

Service and services not up to the price: to avoid

Right reception by the manager in a house much less beautiful than what the photos show; you are right on the very busy street; the parking lot is located on the other side of the road, and has a number of underground spaces a number of rooms.There is no, except for a strict entrance, no common space in the house; the photos are for some lying because the view from the first floor is not as beautiful; if you are not lucky, or wealthy, you will have a right back room to a room as clear with the curtains lowered as raised!!! In short, a horribly expensive address for non-existent services (for the pdj we recommend the cafe Arriba in the city center, very nice atmosphere and breakfast, the good news!!!)) But in an abnormal sense, the customer is the owner of the business, and the customer is the best in town!

A very disappointing address

We were very pleased with our room in Collin Inn. It was in the ground floor but the traffic outside was not a problem. It is very close to the main streets and a an easy place to come and go according to our schedule. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Staff was helpful and courteous. 

Great place to stay in Portree

If you book with Coolin House, you’ll be so lucky! I was a solo female traveler and I feel safe at these accommodations. There was clear directions on expectations, they checked in with me upon checking and later to make sure all was well. My stay included a Sunday where most places to eat were closed yet directly next door, there is a Chinese restaurant as well as a co-op very close by. The hot water lasted a while which was needed after a long day of hiking! Great views, pricing and location in proximity to all areas. Book with confidence.
