YOTELAIR London Heathrow

Arrived on New Years Eve and was poured up some prosciutto upon checking in. A pleasant surprise after a 15 hour flight. Highly recommend this place and will always stay here when transiting to and from London Heathrow. 

The bed and linens were extraordinarily comfy and we slept like babies. Appreciate we could pick up a small bottle of wine and a beer at the desk. Loved the size of the bathroom. It was perfect for our purpose. Appreciated the bottle is water left for us. The convenience can not be beat. Excellent value for cost.


If you have a long layover in London Heathrow, not long enough to justify a hotel, but not short enough to hang out in a lounge, Yotel is perfect. Besides, Yotel is right there at the airport, vs. having to find the shuttle stop, waiting for the shuttle, and traveling yet again to the hotel. I've stayed here twice, both times because I had a long layover. It's also relatively easy to find the Tube from Yotel, in case one wants to take the 45-minute ride into the center of London, for a couple of hours. Fastest check-in I've ever had. It's nice to be able to take a shower after taking a comfortable nap. Unit is clean, although since it's dark like a spaceship and there are no windows, it's hard to get any light in there to see if the place really is clean. At least it smells clean. Wi-fi speed is typical hotel speed (slow). Yeah, it's a little cramped, but if you want more space, go get a hotel shuttle to the nearest hotel and be prepared to spend a lot more money.

The bunk room was perfect for our family of three to rest, get a hot shower and eat on a long layover. The food and drinks we a good price and very tasty. Room was dark and quiet and staff was helpful. 

The room is very small, but is all you need for an overnight stay. The room and bathroom was nice and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We were offered complimentary waters, and the check in process was easy and quick.

Location is impossible to beat.

I stayed 9pm-9am on an overnight.  Reasonable rates, friendly staff, and most importantly, a place to sleep that's right in a terminal.  I had a different experience than some of the reviewers that i'd like to share.  First, I was there when it was super quiet, so sleeping wasn't an issue.  Second, I also found it SUPER easy to find.  If you land in any terminal that's not 4, just take the free train to terminal 4.  The wayfinding is super easy - there are a lot of staff directing people on to the trains.  Bear in mind this is just a place to sleep...the room is like a tiny cabin on a small ferry.  But it's super clean and comfy and I will definitely use again.

I was so pleasantly surprised by my stay at Yotelair LHR. The staff were amazing and check-in was super easy. After traveling for days, all I want to do is to fall into a comfortable bed and watch TV; this hotel is the perfect place to do just that. The tiny single room was perfect for what I needed for a night of sleeping off jetlag. I will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future!

Where else can you get a room in the terminal with its own train and tube station? Add a Costa Coffee and a  Boots within  seconds, a bus station and free 24/7 hot drinks, with  snacks that won't rip you off and you have a formula for success. Definitely stay there again!

Convenient, clean and inside de the airport. Great for short stays like ours especially if you have an early flight. It was located on the same terminal our flight was leaving from.  Exactly what we were looking for. 

We were greeted by a courteous staff. The room was clean and comfortable. The price for the stay for reasonable.  We recommend it for anyone who needs to get some rest in a comfortable room on a long layover.

Super happy to have a place like this

I missed a flight and got stuck at Heathrow for 12 hours. Caught bus T5 to T4 to stay in Yotelair - best investment! Comfortable cubicle with bed and own toilet and shower. Basic, but all you need.  They offer free water/tea/coffee when you arrive and depart. 
Why pay £60 for 2 hours in a lounge + shower. I had 7 hrs with bed and bathroom (and tv) for £55. Brilliant.

Cosy cubby

Returned from  New York on an early morning flight and was totally shattered. Decided to give it a go. Worried the place would be too small. Just right for what I needed. I had a five hour stay for less than £50. For the same price I could have paid for a full night at a different hotel. However this was ready when I needed it (not a 2pm check in). 

First visit. Would use again

Exactly What I Needed

Room was good, Front desk very responsive. I hope they improve the following:
Too hot in the room - front desk had to give a fan
Intercom not working - called front desk they could not hear. but to their credit they came to the room to find out issues i faced
Wifi- weak and did not work on my phone. Kept connecting and getting cut off. Maybe my room was located too far. 

Room is convenient for short stays

I had a bit of trouble finding the hotel (it is sort of hidden between floors?), but once I found the entrance there were no other issues.   The staff were more than friendly, the room/cabin tiny (as described + I'm far from Petite!) but cleverly designed and comfy - I got a great nights sleep.
Not a place you would spend a lot of time in but great if you just want to roll of a plane and get a shower and bed.  
The fact it cost me less than half what any of the other hotels quoted was nice as well.

Tricky to find, slightly mad, but so convenient

found this on the web about getting around Heathrow Airport.  Also looked at the hotels around the airport but by the time you pay for the HOPPA bus which takes you to hotels around £65\£70  the Yotel cost me £50.  It is a cabin with no window, like being on a cruise cabin, tv. table chair, shower, toilet  like being in a caravan and you can have a wine if you like.  Breakfast £"6.95, free coffee on arrival with water - good.  Hotels charging £15 for breakfast.
Did not rate the sleep quality as I never have a good nights sleep anywhere not even in my own home.

Highly recommended for location, location, location!
If you want a simple no-frills accommodation, comfortable bed, private shower and toilet, and a stress free access to all terminals than this is the place for you! Yes, it is small...but it's fun to enjoy the simple things in life rather than a bunch of unnecessary hotel amenities! Comes with free coffee, tea, and water...sound-proof little cabin like room is excellent for weary travelers!
