Well stay there for 2 nights not an issue just wish they had breakfast but for the price I can't complain but there is a few things that need to be sorted that I see is a problem

1) bed need replacing it is too far gone no spring left in it 
2) toilet as a chip in it
3) window is screwed in a fire risk but with chat with manager
4) the kettle is rusty inside needs sorting out asap
5) fan not working
6) bath need resealing

But this my personal opinion and I will be staying again as its close to train station 

We stayed here Friday night. The staff are friendly, shame they dont do food. The room was clean but very out dated and in need off some tlc. Could do with a revamp. The room was spacious thou,the band Friday night was great. We had a great stay, if staying here watch the band's etc as otherwise I would think it would be very loud in the rooms, this didn't bother us as we stayed and watched the band and had a great evening. 

Called in for a couple of drinks on Saturday lunchtime,lovely cold lager and friendly staff.Served quickly and plenty of seating available too.Worth a visit for a drink with friends anytime.The County also had a decent to area for sports fans

Well ok for the money 

Friday night stay

Nice place

Worth ghe money for the local ammenities & town life.

Bar downstairs is a great vibe with something on every night of the week. 

The rooms can be updated but are in a comfortable condition if your working away from home.

Cosy but Dated

Visited this pub tonight. And as a regular attendent I can only say how disappointed I was. Some idiot came into the pub with a 6-7 week old terrified kitten, and so I informed the"manager" that if he did nothing to inform the idiot who brought the kitten to the pub, I would inform the RSPCA......he told me to Get on with it. Total nasty response

New pub manager is a complete numpty

Booked a table for sat night 9.30 for 4 .went in to an absolute packed pub with band on .rude manager came over said we carnt come in too busy and said people arent leaving when there suppose to .he also swore at us when my husband confronted him .this is absolutely disgusting and going to be taken further. As I'm sure all rules are being broken

The county hotel grimsby is the worst place I have ever stayed in my life rotten windows and door frame plastered over huge whole in cieling mouldy tatty blind toilet seat hanging of filthy chairs furniture looked like it had come of a skip complete with graffiti dirty stained carpets and two dangerous steps on entry with no warning sighnes I fell into the room and had bad bruises but could be worse for someone else loud music all night and they had cheek to put it on again at 8 am next morning dont go there

Stayed here for 4 nights as work had booked and paid for it and wouldnt beable to get their money back.
1. No smoke alarms fitted in room
2. Rooms wernt serviced at all
3. Room was too hot as radiator thermostatic valve was missing to adjust temperature
4. Room was also draughty/cold by window which is where the pillow for the bed was.
5. My tv stopped working on 2nd night due to signal failure and my mates room hadnt worked all week. No matter how many times we tried to retune it wouldnt work. 
6. Carpet was all ripped by bathroom door
7. Toilet didnt flush properly had to keep pressing the handle down fast
8. The whole place needs £££££££'s spending on it
9. Only thing this place could be used for in the current state its in is a shelter for the homeless. 
10. Spend an extra £15/£20 a night and go in the wetherspoons down the road as that looks far more value for money. 
Everyday me an my colleague have woken up feeling like death warmed up because of the rooms. DEFINETLY ONE OF THE WORST PLACES I HAVE STAYED AND I WORK ALL OVER THE COUNTRY

WOULDNT LET ME DOG STAY HERE

Stayed for one night and i have to say it was horrendous we could not believe they took our money with a straight face we go away once a month as a group and this is my first bad report but i wish i knew what i was walking into

This is above a pub with a loud terrible music at the time I was staying. The room was disappointing as there was hair in the bed and both mattresses u could feel the spring as u sat on the bed. Also the chairs in the hotel were so terrible that there covered with a towel to hide the dirt.
