An enjoyable overnight stay at Shave Farm B&B. The accommodation was pristinely presented (clean and well equipped) and comfortable. The breakfast was sublime and having it delivered to your accommodation piping hot and delicious was novel and offered a great experience. There were many eco-friendly aspects, meaning less plastic waste.Having a separate dining/living room was a welcome bonus. The setting was beautiful and enables you to appreciate the countryside. I would highly recommend the place, either as a stopover before completing your journey to Cornwall, or a place to base yourself to explore Somerset.

We stayed at Shave Farm on the way to our daughters graduation in Exeter.  Good location to break the journey from London, friendly welcome, clean room, comfortable beds and piping hot tasty breakfast delivered to our door.  Happily recommend Shave Farm.

A beautiful place in the country. The rooms are nicely decorated. The optional breakfast was well worth the price. The apple room over looks a pond that currently has ducks in it. With cows in a field near you. While you can not pet the cows (fences with a path in between). The only problem I seen is that the climbing stairs are required to access your bedroom. Had an issue getting my elderly mother upstairs.  This would be a great place for a honeymoon or to renew your vowels

Very spacious accommodation with an extremely comfortable bed. 
The provisions for breakfast were very generous and the cooked breakfast delicious, served to us in our room.
The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend Shave Farm.

Stayed here before in Cedar Lodge which is set away from the farmhouse where they do excellent B&B. Lovely, modern place, big comfortable bed, very clean with everything you need for a self catering place, plus of course the lovely jacuzzi. The place catches the sun all day so you can just lounge outside doing nothing. The hosts are so nice and very helpful if you need anything.

Local amenities a couple of minutes drive away with a large Tesco’s or Lidles. Ilminister is a nice small town to visit. A 20 minute drive is the Clark’s outlet for lots of great names, discount shopping. And of course Perrys cider mill.

Stayed 3 nights at shave farm for horse racing trip to Exeter and Wincanton
stayed in the b&b red room which was so lovley and peacefull such a lovley place to stay in 
lovley hosts kate and james and had a lovley breakfast which was served in your own room
would  highley recommend 
and would stay here again if in the area 

We were looking for somewhere to stay near to Charmouth, Dorset, so we could visit friends as well as have a restful time away. And Shave Farm was it! We stayed in the Barn Cottage with its lovely views, well decorated and spacious rooms; an oasis of calm even despite to sound of the nearby road. That did not detract from the peace and tranquility. A good location and a place to which we will definitely return.

What a fabulous find
On our way to St Ives and looked for a stop off half way from Bushey. Saw Shave Farm reviews and thought seems ok. Drove  down a narrow lane and entered the grounds. First thought very pretty, enormous lavender bush at the entrance, working farm. Shown to our room and blown away  with size, attention to detail  and the most comfortable large bed . Had a very welcome cup of tea in the lounge and relaxed thinking what a find this is. So pleased we booked here for our return in a week.
Highly recommended stop over and very fairly priced . Now here again on our return same room and same welcome . Great breakfast and will book again for next year

we stayed for one night on way to Falmouth ,were given a very warm welcome by Kate the owner , oh and a well earned pot of tea with biscuits 
we stayed in the suite which is two floors and well set out
slept very well , read some reviews regards road noise ... we didn't hear any road noise 
breakfast is served in your room and was lovely  all locally sourced 
would highly recommend staying

This fabulous lodge has everything, and a relaxing hot tub. 
Lots of things locally to see lots of coast lines close by. 
Set in a farm setting, the owners make you feel very welcome this self catering establishment also offers bed and breakfast at this site. 
The local pub George Inn serves delicious food

Little Trip Away

A lovely 3 night stay.  Beautifully kept accommodation, very comfortable, excellent quality furnishings.  Breakfast was outstanding with everything you need and more.  Hosts were very attentive and friendly.  Rooms were kept very clean.  Would highly recommend.  A peaceful, calm & quiet setting (so car required).  Some lovely pubs and restaurants within 5 minutes drive.  Local Taxi (Trevor) offers a superb service.

Home from Home

Just returned from a lovely weekend at Shave  Farm. We were upgraded which was a fab surprise and had 2 double bedrooms with ensuites & an amazing hot tub.
It exceeded all expectations, beautifully decorated and really comfortable.
The farm is so picturesque and the hosts were really welcoming & friendly, breakfast delivered to us each morning was a nice touch.
We will definitely return next spring.
