An amazing Hall that just keeps giving ! 
Super venue for our joint family birthdays 60-30=90 
The place is a joy and our extended family had an absolute ball.
Bedrooms were amazing the views stunning. All the facilities catered for our needs the weather played ball and stayed at 18c for the first weekend in March ! 
The Hall has been beautifully kept with heaps of history to be viewed when inside.
Sabrina, Sarah and Tyler did an amazing job on the Saturday serving a wonderful 3 course meal that went down a bomb. Thankyou again …

Ingoldisthorpe Hall perfectly blends period grandness with modern living. Even though there’s a lot of history, the house has a homely, lived-in feel so you're not scared to touch things. There are fascinating antiques everywhere, yet the appliances are modern and slick. For example, the kitchen includes a traditional Arga but also electric ovens with gas hobs and a massive American-style fridge freezer. The bathrooms have a vintage feel too, but the sinks, baths, loos etc. are nice and new – not to mention spotlessly clean! The towels were all nice and fluffy too – just as described.

We didn’t see the property manager during our stay, but she was always contactable and swiftly solved a couple of minor issues for us. Our kids loved exploring the house and garden (which has two brilliant rope swings), and there was plenty to keep them amused in the games room. We would absolutely recommend a stay at Ingoldisthorpe Hall; it’s perfect for groups of friends and families, with or without children. 


This place was even better than the photos, our favourite kind of house is the kind of house one can get lost in, and this didn't disappoint! Lovely rooms, everything was tastefully decorated and the house was well equipped with everything we needed for a three course dinner. Bang on service too, five star.

We had a perfect family holiday at Mount Amelia- a lovely, spacious Hall with huge grounds. 
The management and owners were super helpful prior to getting there, by answering our questions and by providing helpful information on local suppliers such caterers etc., and during our stay if anything was needed. I can’t think how our experience at Mount Amelia could have been made better. 
The location of the Hall is also great - not too near the busy resorts but yet near enough to be able to visit all the wonderful places on offer in Norfolk.
Definitely will come again and have recommended it to lots of our friends looking for a similar holiday.

We stayed here for a week post Covid. The building and grounds are amazing and we had a fabulous time. There is tons of room to space out both inside and out. We were able to eat outside for all meals and had fantastic views in a lovely peaceful setting. 
The building is very impressive both inside and out. It’s very well furnished, particularly the bedrooms and bathrooms, and well worth a stay.
Snettisham is a 20 minute walk away and the beaches at Heacham and Hunstanton are easy to reach on bikes or in the car.

Wow. What an amazing house and grounds. The house is beautifully restored and homely and toasty warm. Plenty of hot water for a relaxing bath, even with over 20 guests! Gorgeous beds too! Pure country house luxury; we didn’t want to leave ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We spent a very pleasant weekend here. The cottage is clean, tastefully and well equipped. It has an enclosed garden surrounded by fields and trees, which is very peaceful. It is accessed by a quiet road and then into a gated road for the 3 cottages. Would certainly recommend. One tip - it’s much easier to arrive in the light! 

Mount Amelia is just the place you need for a wonderful weekend away with family or friends. I have stayed there many times on different occasions in summer or winter, and I think it is simply perfect. 
I have slept in the most comfortable beds in extremely tastefully decorated rooms, and the well equipped kitchen makes it ideal for self-catering. There is lots of space for everyone. The house is surrounded by beautiful grounds, relaxing countryside with views of the sea. It is only a few miles to the beach, and there is lots to do round about with kids as well.
I highly recommend Mount Amelia for weddings, hen or stag parties, anniversary or birthday celebrations.

We spent one evening at Mount Amelia on a bed and breakfast basis as our son was competing in a cycling championship.  A simply stunning property - we were the only guests that particular night so it felt as if the whole house was ours.  Our bedrooms were a delight with so much space and there are fantastic views over the parkland to the coast.  Continental breakfast supplied everything we needed and Vicky was very helpful showing us around.  Can see why this house is loved for house parties for special birthday celebrations, etc.  Have already recommended to friends.

We recently stayed here for the weekend (a party of 13 adults 8 children and an infant) and had the most amazing time. The house is beautiful and so big and really has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The kids loved the games room and also playing out in the grounds on the tree swings. Vicky was so helpful prior to our stay and answered the vast amount of questions that we all had.
We enjoyed it that much that we have already booked again for next year!!!!

Perfectly blends period grandness with modern living

Our second visit to Ingoldisthorpe Hall for our annual family weekend get together. We are 17 adults and 5 children plus dogs so we also take the three delightful cottages one can also stay in
The house is perfect for us, not so immaculate that you are scared to damage anything. The kitchen is well equipped, plenty of crockery, glasses and cooking utensils and two dishwashers. Dining room is spacious and the bedrooms are gorgeous. Two big sitting rooms means there is plenty of space to lounge in. Outside there are 40 acres to roam in and the hall is a stones throw from the fabulous Norfolk coast
