Belgrave

Room, although fairly small, was ok and quite airy. The hotel might look a bit tired and careworn but overall it’s quite nice. I stay at many hotels and guest houses around the country and my bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever had. Staff were pleasant and attentive. The only quibble I have is with the price for a single room. Ok I know Chester races were on and this might have pushed prices up for a Saturday night but £60 I thought was a bit much. I’d say £45 was a bit nearer the mark. I’d have no hesitation staying here again though especially as it is very close to the train station and town centre.
