Fabulous host. The room was very clean and comfortable. Nice touch with a drink on arrival, which I could have in the garden .Free coffee in the lounge and a nice touch with the honesty bar. Fabulous breakfast. Tea and coffee is always available from in the lounge.

A really lovely B&B which we stayed in on our last night of walking the Anglesey coast path. We were so tired but the owner looked after us really well, and we were really happy to discover that they also had an honesty bar and did evening meals so that we didn't have to go out! Our room and bathroom were spacious, and it was great having on-tap tea and coffee downstairs that you can just take up to your room. Our evening meal was fabulous - can highly recommend!  Breakfast was great too and cooked to a very high standard. All great value for money.

We stayed overnight here prior to getting the ferry to Ireland, it's an amazing place. The host is really friendly and looked after us brilliantly. The whole place is really well looked after, with excellent facilities (free hot drinks on arrival, a wide range of breakfast choices including omelette's and ever dinner if you pre-book). The rooms are spotless and extremely comfortable with a selection of single, double and family rooms available all of which are ensuite.

Definitely recommend this as the perfect place to stay whether it's a quick overnight or something longer.

The Orient is one of the most unique B&Bs we have stayed in, on this occasion while walking the Anglesey Coast Path - unique and memorable for all the right reasons.  Our room was excellent, but the defining characteristic of this establishment is the welcome from the hostess and the generally informal, unfussy and relaxed ambience.  There is a comfortable little lounge area with honesty bar next door to the dining area.  The food is delicious and it was a joy to sample some genuine Vietnamese dishes instead of the usual UK fare – although UK options are available.

As an owner of a TV company who has to film away constantly…this is without doubt the most outstanding bed and breakfast I have stayed at. A warm welcome…beautiful rooms…lovely atmosphere. Out of 10…I give the Orient B&B…10.

We three dined in the restaurant one evening . We had booked and everything went very well.

The food was fine. I enjoyed the Vietnamese flavours . My two friends were happy with their dishes. 

The manageress was very attentive; we learned lots about Holyhead and its environs. It's a family-run business, with parents of TJ (the boss) helping out.

Very acceptable evening. The draught Guinness in a can added to the overall atmosphere which was more than civil. (Guinness served at optimal temperature! ).

Dining room is newly decorated which offered a fresh & clean pic opportunity (a photo of our wee group ).

I had some fruit afterwards (no charge).

The communication with TJ the day before we arrive was super easy, she replies very quickly to messages, and she sent the instructions for the self check-in earlier than planned as we asked how we would need to proceed.
During our stay, she stayed with us while we were having our meals, having a chat with us, it was great to get to know her, this is the reason why we book B&Bs, rather than hotels, it is for the contact with the locals.
She is very friendly and welcoming, the cooked breakfast was very generous. We also had a fantastic vietnamese dinner on the saturday night! We loved our stay with her, the room was spotless, the bed linen smelled lovely, the room had a view on the city and also the mountains on the side. We will be back for sure! Diolch yn fawr!

This is how accomodation should be. Clean, comfortable, welcoming, Bonus to have an Oriental dinner on offer , as well as breakfast. All guests needs have been though of. The Orient is a credit to TJ  and her family.

My booking was messed up by Booking.com so I called the owner of the Orient and she couldn’t have been more helpful, and followed up later. 
The owner and staff were amazing. 6 *
They have only just opened so everything was new and fresh. Tastefully appointed and attention to detail was excellent with amazing beds & duvets/pillows. Generous provision of towels and toiletries. 
The wifi was quick. There is a really nice “common room” with hot drinks & alcohol provided on an honour system. 
Full Welsh breakfast was super reasonable and perfect with proper big mugs of tea..
Overall my stay was near to perfect as possible.

The Guest House was one of our most delightful surprises on our recent trip to GB. It is in a sleepy town of Holyhead, Wales. The guest house is situated on the Rocky western coast of Wales which provides you with a great place to stay before taking the Ferry to Dublin. However, the Monravon delivers more than just that to you. The innkeeper, Joe, is as charming fellow as you can meet, and he has infused the inn with that spirit. Bright polka dot fabric appears in each room and you just have to smile at how fun that touch is. Our room as well as the rest of the inn, was immaculate. They have a charming living room common area with games and books along with a hospitality bar which provides tea and delicious cookies. We enjoyed our own bottle of wine one evening while chatting with Joe in the living room area. . Many other B&Bs don't have a common space so you are relegated to your room or you must leave the inn. But not at the Monravon Guest House. We really appreciated this set up as we spread out our maps on the coffee table to plan the next day's adventure. Also, the town has a Co-op store, so we purchased sandwiched and enjoyed that as our dinner, in the living room area. Also, the breakfast was the conventional type, but it was well presented and served in their sunny dining room area. The room was very well priced also. I will add that the area can provide wonderful walking and hiking, just spend a little time with Joe and he will suggest some great places to explore. There are some nice restaurants in town which is a short walk from the Inn. We only stayed one night, but we would have definitely stayed additional night if our plans were more flexible.

Feels like our home away from home!

we really enjoyed our overnight stay at this clean and friendly guest house.
the new owner was so helpful in helping us find an evening meal and waking us up early to catch the Irish Ferry due to their cancellation of the fast ferry.
We had a nice ground floor room and enjoyed the continental breakfast.
We wish the new owner well and thank him for his services

John was very welcoming and had excellent local knowledge to help us enjoy his lical area. The rooms and facilities were delightful, clean, comfortable. Breakfast, including option for a full cooked breakfast, was lovely. So pleased with accommodation and area we stayed an extra night. Lovely walks, drives and local eateries too. Perfect!
