We stayed for 2nights  from walking in to leaving everything was brilliant.judy and Richard are great hosts and really look after you room no7 was loverly spotless clean and loverly big bed,we stayed in a few b&bs in Harrogate the breakfast here was the best,my full English and wifes omelettes you won't get any better,    best B&B in Harrogate .thank you and see you again soon.

Lovely B and B ideally placed for attending Harrogate Convention Centre. Richard welcomed me to the property and did the tour. Place was spotless and bed very comfortable. Full selection of quality produce for breakfast. 
Only slight point was the bathroom was small but it had a great shower. And breakfast was served from 0800 which was a bit later than I would have preferred.
Walking distance from station and closer still to town centre.  However overall well worth 5 star review

The Welford is a lovely place and Richard and Judy are a lovely welcoming friendly couple. The Welford is close to the Convention Centre and all of the shops, restaurants and bars.
This place is the best place to stay if visiting Harrogate.
If needing a score of 1-10 I would give  it a 100.

Just returned from a short break staying in The Welford Bed & Breakfast,Harrogate.
Absolutely everything was perfect Judy and Richard have made the place perfect.The rooms are spotlessly clean and the breakfasts are the best we have had.Richards homemade sausages are delicious.Their hospitality is exceptional ,we will be back.Thankyou👍

We first stayed here in 2021 on our second Trip to stay in Yorkshire.( First time on a coach Holiday in Scarborough). Mum chose The Welford  when we decided to head back for a Yorkshire holiday, she chose it randomly. But she hit the jackpot with this little gem of a place to stay. Beautiful, modern hotel, lovely rooms. Spotlessly clean, wonderful choice for breakfast. But the best part was the couple who own it. We have never met such a warm and friendly couple. We really felt like they were our friends when we left . We've been back every year since, and although it would be more convenient to stay in Leeds, we just don't want to stay anywhere else. Heading back in Oct and we can't wait! Xx 💕👍🏻

Just had a lovely two night say here . 
The beds were extremely comfortable the rooms very clean and had everything you needed . Richard and Judy accommodated my dietary requirement ( Vegan  ) with the most amazing breakfast and choice .
I would recommend this B&B so friendly a such a nice couple .
The location is brilliant for just walking into town lots of restaurants and cafe and also the Turkish baths is a must visit.

Very easy to write a good review - Harrogate is an absolutely beautiful, clean and friendly town to visit.  So much to do and see.  The Welford is positioned far enough away from the town centre but just a 5minute easy walk to town, buses and trains.  B&B clean, modern and Richard and Judy are the perfect hosts.  Breakfast was delicious, homemade sausages and a very very wide menu to choose from.  Definitely will be returning to The Welford and definitely visiting Harrogate and surrounding places.  Thank you Richard and Judy for a fab few days away.  

Lovely guest house. Richard and Judy were lovely, very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing,  nothing too much trouble

Richard & Judy are lovely friendly hosts and ,as well as a delicious (good quality products) and varied breakfast, our rooms/ensuites were very comfortable & clean with plenty of hot water. Thanks for a great stay and your hints and tips on eating places and where to go on our days out in Knaresborough (walked there), exploring Harrogate and bus trip to Ripon & local walk. Stayed here for 60th birthdays four of us all agreed would stay again. 
Lovely couple who couldn’t do enough for us. 
Breakfast with loads of choice was worthy of a five star hotel. 
Great location five minutes walk from centre with good parking. 
Recommending this place to anyone we know who fancies a trip to Harrogate.

Lovely warm welcome & great stay at The Welford

Lovely couple

Can’t recommend this guest house highly enough. Location is perfect, just 5 mins walk from bus and rail stations and town centre, yet in a quiet neighbourhood. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. Breakfasts are absolutely delicious and include all you need to set you up for the day. But above all, the hosts Richard and Judy are such a lovely, welcoming couple who really make you feel at home and go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay. Would definitely love to stay here again when we revisit the area. 

Lovely guest house in a great location

Friendly welcome from hosts Richard and Judy (no not that pair!) nothing too much trouble, very informative for new comers to Harrogate. Place was immaculate, tastefully decorated. Breakfasts excellent home produce. Bedroom/bathroom clean and spotless. Close to all Harrogate has to offer, definitely coming back.
