The owners are great and welcoming. They have lots of suggestions on dinning, pubs and nearby attractions. Even gave advice on the route to take to get there (more scenic). The room was large and beautiful with a large private bathroom. We had a full breakfast every morning. This is a true bed and breakfast. We even learned some Irish words.

We stayed at this property for two nights as it is very convenient to all of the north and east coast attractions like Giants Causeway, Carrick-a-rede bridge, Friary, Dunluce and Kinmare Castles, and if you're a GOT fan, the lost village of Galboly and Dark Hedges were both close by as well. Our room was clean and tidy and had a double and a twin bed so would be good for a small family. Michael was very welcoming and gracious host and made several great recommendations for sights and local restaurants. The views from the property were amazing and its very quiet. It is not walkable for restaurants but they are a close drive of 10-12 minutes - we really enjoyed the Salthouse and O'Connors pub. A great stay and would book there again in future.

Perfect location to explore the wonders of the Antrim coast.  Our host Michael was engaging and even taught us a few words in the Irish language as a parting gift.  A very pleasant experience with a hearty breakfast.

I was hiking the causeway coast & this provided me with a lovely experience to relax in the evening and get a delicious cooked breakfast in the morning.  Michael is a fantastic host, taxis to b&b cheap from ballycastle and can park at house .  As a solo traveller room was really big with both a double ved and a single plus en suite bathroom.   Shower was lovely and warm bed super comfy. 

 The residence is about 90 min walk fron ballycastle and most road has no pavement.  You can book a taxi which costs £10-£11 or its perfect if you have a vehicle.  You will pay alot more in centre of Ballycastle and feel less authentic staying in a B&B there.  Michael recommended Anzac in Ballycastle and that didnt dissapoint  (pic of burger attached).   I plan to stay again next time i hike the coast!

Michael was an amazing host - happy to chat with us and to recommend restaurants and pubs in town, but also happy to give us our space. I enjoyed the chance to use my cúpla focal to converse as Gaeilge. Great room and amazing breakfast.

This place was fantastic! Rustic but close to pubs and restaurants. The owners were very knowledgeable about the area and had some superb suggestions for local sights I would have not found otherwise. Super clean and very comfortable

What an amazing B&B the owners are so nice and the breakfast was just as amazing the bangers and bacon are so local they come from just a few farms away. I wish I would have booked another night.

Lovely host, grear value for money!

Teach An Cheoil was such an incredible experience and B&B in Ballyvoy in North Ireland. The hosts teach and play Traditional Irish Music which we got to hear first-hand at their Trad Trail (pub hops with them and others playing Irish tunes).It was very intimate and educational and is obvious how passionate and committed Micheal and Catherine are to bringing Trad Irish Music and Irish language back. They are incredible, giving, people who have an amazing B&B just up the hill from Ballycastle which is an adorable town right on the coast. The room and bathroom were spacious, spotless, and had every amenity needed. Breakfasts were homemade and delicious.The property is surrounded by green rolling hills with sheep which was so unique to see and hear. If you are looking for a true Irish experience, book a stay with Teach An Cheoil. You will truly enjoy your stay!

Teach An Cheoil For a True Irish Experience

Teach an Cheoil was an amazing stay and experience. Our hosts were warm and welcoming and we were even invited to attend an Irish Music Trad Trail (pub hopping & music) in Ballycastle with the hosts who play several Irish instruments, teach Irish music and Irish language. They are the kind of people who change the world by bringing back and continuing Irish traditions. Teach an Cheoil is a serene beautiful place with a spacious room, large bathroom, great shower, and view of surrounding emerald fields full of sheep grazing. The sunsets over the ocean were gorgeous too! Breakfasts were home cooked and delicious. We had such a great experience at Teach an Cheoil. We will definitely be back but will stay longer next time! We had a great time here! Our host, Micháel, was fantastic, full of wonderful stories and details about the surrounding area. The room was huge, with a large bathroom and a lovely cat to greet us outside. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. I would highly recommend this place, especially if you have any interest in Irish traditional music or the Irish language. The closest pub is a short drive away. The ONLY downside was that there was very little shelving in the bathroom or shower to hold all our stuff.

A delightful, cozy stay with a wonderful host

Absolutely lovely, Michael was an excellent host and even drove us into town the next day and could recommend a good place to get food and a nice bar.The room was lovely, Enough space for 2 people, comfy beds and a clean bathroom. Breakfast was prepared with love and thoroughly enjoyed. All in all 10/10 would stay there again.

The loveliest B&B in the area

We truly enjoyed our stay at Catherine and Michael's home stay. It was quiet with some lovely musical moments in the morning. The breakfast was also very nice and nourishing! Make sure you have their phone number before coming, as it is not on a main road and perhaps not as easily found as other b&b..

Lovely stay

The accomodation felt absolutely nothing like the usual hotel accomodation (impersonal).  It was set in beautiful surroundings and was a solely family run establishment.  The said family were friendly and extremely helpful and I felt more like I was staying with my own family, only better!  I would certainly highly recommend Teach an Cheoil to anyone wanting an extra special holiday experience.

Easy to find, although it can be easily missed as I found out. 
I wouldn't say it is wheelchair friendly because of the location, off road tracks, and stairs to the property. 
Children are welcome here. 
This place would suit single travelers as well as families. 
The place is clean and fresh, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom clean.
