As it was off season the hotel seemed very quiet; but, there were other guests we rarely saw them. The staff day and night were extremely friendly, helpful and polite. The art deco feel to the hotel was a lovely added touch. It's easy to find whether walking in about minutes from the border or take a five minute taxi ride. Extremely close to shops restaurants and the main centre of the town. Our windows looked out on to the park across the road and you can see the rock in amongst the trees. The only thing I would point out is if you have extreme mobility issues there is a lift; but, you have to climb a few stairs to get to it; but for most people extremely manageable. There is a museum right across the road in the park.
