Gairlochy Holiday Park

This is a hidden gem. Close to the Caledonian canal and lovely walks. This is a family run site which is small enough to allow the personal touch. Its not all singing all dancing like some sites, but is quiet and relaxing. The facilities are not shiny and new but are clean and provided for our needs. There is a laundry room which we used as we were on week two of a three week trip in our camper. The laundry facilities were cheap and effective. The owners couldn't do enough. They were chatting friendly and accommodating. We particularly enjoyed a walk up to the commando monument and the high bridge. We ended up having a nice lunch in spean Bridge and a potter around the mill shop before trekking back. We also walked the Caledonian canal which was lovely. A very nice 3 day stop over a short distance from Fort William and Neptune's staircase. Would definitely stop over again.
