I recently stayed in this lovely BB for a weekend trip for a wedding at the Old Kent Barn.  The BB is in a quiet location but still very close to all the local sites.  Very clean, a lovely breakfast , and lots of original charm, The host Mary was very accommodating, highly recommended.

We stayed for one night while walking the final stages of the North Downs Way to Dover. A warm welcome and a good sized room at the front of the house with fine views out to sea. Attractive location close to the Path. A good breakfast set us up well for the onward walk. Comfortable guest lounge with variety of local reading material.

Without doubt one of the best bed and breakfast establishments I have visited and very welcoming.  Great for visiting Folkestone and Dover and very close to the Eurotunnel terminal, but in a peaceful setting with views of the French coast on a clear day. Fabulous room, bathroom and a great breakfast. And very convenient for anyone walking the North Down Way. Better than any hotel in the vicinity!  Only 15 minute walk away from a pub serving excellent food.

Only stayed for one night as we were travelling to France the next day, it's only a 7 minute drive to the channel tunnel.  Our host Mary was exceptional, house was spotlessly clean the rooms are of a good size and because of its location being out in the countryside a very quiet place to stay at night.
The tea and coffee facilities in the room even came a full biscuit barrel,  never had that before. Breakfast was freshly cooked while you waited. 
We will definitely be returning on our next trip when using  the channel tunnel.

We stayed here the night before catching the Euro tunnel. The location was excellent. Set in grounds with a superb view. A quaint farmhouse with superb hosts. Just as you would expect a farmhouse to be. Wonderful breakfast in the morning. 
I could not fault anything. 100% recommended!

We stayed one night before going to France by Channel Tunnel.  We could not arrive until 10 pm but Mary was very accommodating and very welcoming.  Our room was lovely and the bed super-comfortable.  All was immaculately clean.  It was amazing to be able to see the lights of France from our bedroom window. Despite being close (10 mins drive) from the channel tunnel, our room was very quiet.  Breakfast next day was fresh and beautifully cooked.  If we were spending longer in this area we'd be more than happy to stay at this fine B&B.

Feeling tired after a 5 hour bike ride along the North Downs Way it was really good to finally arrive  here and be greeted warmly by Mary, who runs the B&B in this 18C farmhouse with her husband Sam. It had been a lovely sunny day and the views across the cliff tops and out into the channel in the early evening were wonderful. The nearest pub for dinner is only a pleasant 20 minute walk away, but Sam very kindly gave me a lift so that I didn’t have to get back on the bike again. I slept very well that night on a comfortable bed and had a good breakfast the next morning to set me up for the ride into Dover along the cliff tops. Mary and Sam were charming hosts and made me so welcome. I can certainly recommend Pigeonwood House.
