An excellent B&B in every respect. Immaculately clean and well-provisioned bedrooms and shower rooms; strong enough wi-fi; good choices for breakfast; easy off-road parking; convenient for the A1 main road; very obliging owners. It couldn't be more rural and so is not within easy walking of a town or village, but very convenient by car for Morpeth and places to the north.

Lovely B&B. Nice spacious room, excellent hosts very friendly and informative, great breakfast with plenty of choice. Everything you could need in the room and good value for money.
The location  is ideal for touring and is in quiet countryside

Great Place to Stay. We stayed as we attended a wedding close by. The owners bend over backwards to make your stay as good as possible. A lot of thought into what is provided with an atmosphere which makes you feel home from home. We will definitely be back, many thanks!!

Stayed overnight for a wedding nearby. I had the family room at the top of the house and it was great for the price. Very comfortable, lots of nice touches and amazing views from the large window. 
Hosts were very welcoming and were kind enough to give me a lift to collect my car in the morning. 
Breakfast was nice and for a sensibly priced bed and breakfast it was good value. Thank you.

Spent a great two nights at this very charming and cozy B&B, hosted by Graham and his family. Had the room on the top floor which was comfortable and spacious, even with two small kids. Loved the bucolic setting and views of cow pastures out the large windows, along with plenty of tea and cookies in the room. The breakfast was good enough, though maybe not the best cooking on our trip.

Lovely hosts, nothing was too much trouble, advised where the best places were to eat and good places to visit, excellent room really comfortable couldn't fault it at all. Good breakfast.Excellent value.

The photos dont do it justice.  Its very beautiful. Its so well equipped.  There are board games, dvds, bouncy balls, inflatable paddling pool and books.  The owner has thought of every thing.  There is no wifi however.  It is not a problem for me. I highly recommend this property.  Easy reach of Scotland and Newcastle but nicely secluded.  Simply beautiful.

I chose to stay here for 3 reasons after searching Booking.com and those were the previous ratings and also that it was very handy for access to the A1 following a trip to Cragside Estate.
We arrived early but that wasn’t a problem and my wife was helped into the house which was very appreciated. 
Our room was on the ground floor at the front consisting of double bed & en-suite walk in shower. There is a nice size tv plus kettle and a selection of drinks plus bottled water. The bathroom included dressing gowns (not used) plus complimentary shower gels etc. 
Our breakfast order was then taken and a code for the WiFi given which was a good speed (better than we have).
We watched tv in the evening as I had driven from Scotland and tired from walking around Cragside as well. I slept very well but my wife not so but that’s quiet normal.
We took breakfast in the conservatory and noticed the 4 tables not realising there is 4 rooms to book here but we were happy with our ground floor room. There was fresh fruit plus cereal and then the hot food order was brought out along with toast and coffee. We chose a lighter breakfast as we were travelling straight away and it was very enjoyable.
The hosts were very nice and we chatted for several minutes before paying the bill and saying goodbye.
Normally we take a Premier Inn having done so this last week but this made a nice change and we were happy with our stay and the service given.

I was pleasantly surprised with the property and it's facilities. Our room was large and the bathroom was huge, renovated, really clean and in good condition. The bedroom was a good size for a couple with room on the floor to put suitcases and other bags. A desk area as well and a bench for food and a really good quality Colombian coffee provided.

Breakfast was good, a small array of fruits, cereal, yoghurts and juices and cooked breakfast to order.

The B&B isn't near public transport, so you need a car to get there. Off street parking is available. It's only a short drive from the coast and some castles.

Run by a friendly husband and wife team along with their daughter.

We had the downstairs double room which was spacious and comfortable, although with a little traffic noise, (not enough to keep us awake or wake us up). Good breakfast. A good place to break a journey - rather than as a destination in itself.
