Warmly welcomed on arrival the owner’s daughter, as the owner was away at the time dealing with a family matter. Upon the owner returning, was again warmly welcomed and, on this occasion, advised of all of the facilities and services available. A guest lounge, which also contained a great deal of information regarding attractions in the local area, was also made available to us. The room was of a reasonable size, and being a corner room, afforded windows and semi-rural views on two sides. The bedroom contained one large bed, another single bed, a small sofa, bedside cabinets and table for the complimentary tea/coffee. Also tastefully decorated. Ensuite was also of a reasonable size, containing a good shower and shelving space for personal toiletries. A complimentary continental and/or hot breakfast was also provided, ensuring a very satisfactory start to the day. Its location necessitates a short drive to the nearby city centre where there is plenty of options for dining (and shopping). Despite having been advised that the free Wi-fi may at times be a little erratic, no difficulties were encountered during our stay.
