Orchard Cottage

This is the friendliest B&B in Willingham. The rooms are immaculate and quiet too. The place to stay when visiting Cambridge or the surrounding countryside. Warm in winter and cool in summer with outdoor seating for sunny days. You will not be disappointed.

Travelling from Australia to visit family in the area, we happened across Orchard Cottage, and decided to use it as our base for two weeks. What a lovely place to stay. 

We were greeted by the owners on arrival, who were warm and welcoming and not intrusive at all.

The room we stayed in was great, with all the amenities we needed - tea, coffee, wine glasses (!). The beds were comfortable and we had a good sleep each night. 

Having such a wonderful cooked breakfast every morning was a delicious luxury! We particularly enjoyed the sausages sourced from a local farm shop. Yum!!

We would definitely recommend Orchard Cottage. Excellent value for money and a great place to stay.

Very nice. Spacious room and nice and clean. Good bathroom and excellent breakfast. Breakfast served in room. Very friendly hosts and highly recommend. Would stay here again. Beds are comfortable and there is all you need. 

Everything absolutely top notch, easy to find, accessible to the local amenities, quiet, beautifully clean, comfortable bed, excellent shower and on top of all that, the fantastic breakfasts served in the room

I have stayed here several times while on business in Willingham and I have always found it to be a very comfortable experience. The location is quiet, the rooms are clean and the breakfasts are delicious. I most recently stayed in summer and they have the most beautiful garden area where you can have breakfast and your morning coffee. On site parking is available.

I stayed during the October half-term (2021) for two nights.
Excellent room, very spacious and nicely heated for the time of year. 
Very good breakfast served in the room (not sure whether this is how things are always done at Orchard Cottage or whether it was because of Coronavirus rules that applied at the time) - you choose the time it is delivered and they were perfectly on time on each occasion.
The only slight drawback: the room I stayed in had only a window to the corridor, so no natural light which did not matter to me since I was out all day and only returned after dark.
Very friendly owner - would definitely stay again.

Stayed during a stressful time, felt like we walked into a oasis of calm. Quite overnight, very good nights sleep. Spotlessly clean room and modern bathroom. Very comfortable beds with cosy duvets and crisp white sheets. Yummy breakfast delivered to the room which was easy to order the night before. Lovely gardens and easy onsite parking. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

I have only good things to say about Orchard Cottage. I have stayed on multiple occasions as somewhere to stay ahead of university placement; Mick and Mandy have always given me a warm welcome at whatever time I turn up, and offered me fresh milk for a hot drink also. 
The area is lovely and quiet and the room was always nice and clean.
A form is left in the room to fill out your breakfast order, which is delivered to your room at your chosen time. On a sunny morning, I sat in the garden to eat which was lovely. 

Would definitely recommend staying here and will stay here in the future if I am back in the area :)

We have just spent three nights at the Orchard Cottage in Willingham, having attended a family wedding and have to say that we could find absolutely nothing to find fault with.

Mandy and Mick were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast, delivered to our room at the requested time, was amazing.

The whole bedroom and bathroom was so very clean and would recommend this accommodation to anyone, without hesitation.

Stayed here on Saturday 16th December as it was just across from the Auction House where we were at a wedding.

As far as a guest house style setting is concerned it's absolutely fantastic and a lovely setting to be in. Will visit in the summer when we can enjoy the outdoor space. 

We were well looked after by Mick and given an excellent quality breakfast in the morning brought to your room. 

Room facilities are more akin to a quality hotel but with more character.

A real find this place and thanks for looking after us.

What a lovely stay at Orchard Cottage!

A last minute booking (I did it direct with the owner, Mick) and was pleasantly surprised overall. 

The room is set within a courtyard and is a room in a lodge style building. My room was a twin but had ample space. Modern furnishings and clean. 

A good size bathroom with very soft towels. Basic but functional shower area. The bed was very comfy and the pillows were just the right softness for me. 

WiFi was included and the reception was excellent. 

The breakfast is brought to the room. I had the full English and it was ample. Great sausages! 

Mick the host is friendly and I’ll definitely be staying here again.
