We stopped over for one night while attending a local event, the staff were very friend and helpful nothing was to much, the room was excellent we would definitely stop there again.

Had a really relaxing stay The staff were really lovely and very helpful during our stay.

Have stayed here on numerous occasions as it is convenient to the coast and several points of interest

We had a very enjoyable weekend break to recharge our batteries! Staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Food was of a very high quality and what we had was delicious. Room was lovely and more than we expected.

Fantastic booked a double accessible the room was beautiful clean and the wet room was clean very spacious also the room hotel restaurant bar and gardens are fully wheelchair accessible the breakfast included was lovely definitely highly recommend and will definitely be returning to the Roman Camp Inn definitely a golden gem and so thankful to have found it as it is so hard to find anywhere to stay that is fully wheelchair accessible and the staff are so friendly and helpful Thankyou so much for everything and we will be returning soon

Our 4 night stay was excellent. Room located on ground floor was perfect for my wife with COPD. Food was very good and staff were all excellent. We would single out Pam, head of housekeeping and Fiona, duty manager for extra praise, who both went that bit further to make our stay perfect. We will certainly be booking again next year.

A very good quality hotel to stay in, all members of staff were extremely friendly and helpful.My only concern for me was when we returned back to the hotel and you wanted a evening night cap that the beer was not cold it was more on the tepid side rather than cold as a beer should be served, this was the only negative element for me as this hotel is a fine good quality hotel, the breakfast was of a good quality.

Good hotel

It’s a nice quiet Inn with a lot of character, lovely garden and nice surrounding forest. Very easy to get to the local sea towns from here. The rooms are cosy and well kept, the inn is old fashioned but that is never a bad thing. Staff were very polite and helpful to any questions or requests. The food is great quality and the staff were friendly. The only issue we had was flies/wasps whilst dining.

Very helpful staff, clean and very quite hotel, very modern rooms, breakfast was good, plenty of parking space. Great Bar and bar staff very helpful, the only problem we had was the shower water pressure was very low and was told to run the hot water for about 5mins just to get hot water (wasting water) as our room was a bit further away from the boiler, I still give 10 out of 10, planning to book again with friend and family.

GREAT HOTEL...

We went here for our anniversary. Two nights.  The staff are so friendly.  Our room was lovely and seemed recently refurbished.  Everything worked well.  The hotel has some lovely gardens.  The food was very good indeed and close to two National Trust estates and just a few miles from Cromer.Overall, our stay was just perfect.

My wife and I enjoyed our trip to Norfolk and the Roman Camp in is situated within easy driving distance of many interesting places to visit.There was a bit of a hiccough on arrival, as our reservation had not been processed by the Inn, even though we appeared to have received confirmation by email.As a result, we had to move from one to another during our stay, which was a little tiresome.Traffic noise was a bit of an issue, particularly in the new room, but otherwise the Inn is definitely a fun place to stay and we would be happy to recommend it to friends.

Good place to stay

Lovely staff, really friendly and helpful. Accommodation was good, evening meal was very tasty and nicely presented. Except for pints, drinks are a bit on the expensive side. The hotel is next to a busy road, which would have been good to know when booking as it disturbed my sleep with the window open. Bed was lovely and comfortable, not hard like most hotels. There's a petrol station next door, which is useful for getting water for the room, as we only got the free bottled water when we asked and it was fizzy; think it would have been expensive to buy at the hotel. Local busses are few and far between, Saturday bus runs twice, both before 1pm, no busses on Sundays. Great area to walk round, we walked to The Rocky Bottom across the local land no problem.

We enjoyed our stay

We had booked the "Deluxe" dble room for 2 nights B&B, upon arrival, we were offered complimentary afternoon cream tea which we declined as we had lunch on the way, but it was a nice gesture, dinner booking was recommended although the table offered was over looked by the "till" area and was small, it later transpired that we sat outside as it was so humid and a warm night, and there was  no need to book a table at all, as plenty were available. We were not comfortable with being constantly welcomed/addressed as "Guys" by the waiting staff in the restaurant which seemed to be the norm for serving everyone, it was too impersonal and took the edge off our first night there, although we didn't complain. We did not eat there on the 2nd night. The room was pleasantly airy and clean however it looked right over the main A148 !! Hardly any tea/coffee making items, we asked for replacements twice, no bottled water in the room nor was it the "Garden view" as was advertised, the "Spa bath" is shallow, also, the towelling was fresh out of the packaging and most of our clothing and body were covered in "Fluff" which we did complain about the next day, much to the "seemingly shag-ran" response from reception. Breakfast was a full on English or lighter if you preferred, the 2nd morning they ran out of Dairy free butter and we were subjected to the minuscule table scenario again, (Wings in) yet other guests of 2 had a table for 4 reserved ??Room for improvement, Aged public rooms.

Is it Me ??

We were greeted by a friendly lady who couldn’t have been any more helpful.The room was lovely and clean tidy and perfect for a four night stay Breakfast was everything you could ask for and more , this also went for the meal at night Cooked to perfection! But the greatest thing about the hotel was the staff, each and every person made the effort to make the stay as pleasurable as possible 10/10 for everything ! A place I’d like to stay again and again if I was in the area
