We had a lovely visit, the owners was wonderful and friendly. The locals was all very nice. It was dog friendly, lots of places to visit locally. Surprisingly the cabin was warm and dry especially for the time of year. We had no complaints whatsoever and we certainly want to visit again. Great value for money.

We went on a family trip to visit Nessie! These lodges are great. Very private, clean and very well equipped. The owners are so friendly and helpful with whatever you need.  Close to tourist attractions such as Urquhart Castle and the visiting centre. Lots of eating places around the area. Would recommend these lodges, thanks for having us!

A chance find when browsing for somewhere to stay we came across this secluded site hidden well above the village - this was one of the best places we have stayed at for quite some time !

The owner was very helpful and the lodge itself very well kept, clean and provided with everything needed for a self-catering break.   We were lodge 2 with two very friendly horses and sheep in the field next to us.     Location was perfect for Loch Ness and Inverness, and Fort William wouldn't have been too far if it wasn't for all the roadworks !

Would certainly stay here again !

In lodge1 there is a stunning view to the hills around loch ness. The lake itself is not visible but nevertheless. 
Fully equiped kitchen with plenty cutlery etc. Some wildlife in the garden , deer, pine marten is very exciting for city people like us. Nice village down the hill with good supermarket. Great nature around and things to see.

My family's two night stay at Drumnadrochit Lodges was without a doubt the most memorable and magical of our eleven day tour of Scotland. We stayed in the Premier Type B Lodge No 3 and it was PERFECT for our family of 4 (two adults, a 3 year old and 5 year old).
The lodge was clean, the owner was friendly and helpful, the kitchen with washer/dryer was well stocked and useful, but the biggest appeal was the STUNNING VIEW from the cabin.
Each morning we woke to views of beautiful sunrises over Loch Ness and each night we watched the moonlight sparkle on the lake's water. We even enjoyed the view during meals on the private back porch patio. 
Pros:

Cleanliness-seriously spotlessly clean
Friendly service-the owner was helpful and friendly even when delays in our travel caused us to arrive after 8pm
Location-the drive to all of the loch ness tourist attractions was around 5 minutes, but the short distance gave the great feeling that you were in a country retreat.
Washer/dryer-we were able to clean all of our laundry while our kids played and we enjoyed the views
Pay as you go power- I was unsure of what to expect about the coin operated power, but the owner made change for us-so we didn't have to find coins. We were able to regulate our energy consumption, and never ran out our felt inconvenienced.

Cons:
Honestly, none.
This was our favorite stay in Scotland!

Wow, what lovely accommodation. 

We stayed in Lodge 5 as a family of five and have had the most amazing week in one of the most beautiful locations in the world. 

The view from our lodge was stunning.  The Loch from the patio and the mountain range from the living room - just awesome. 

The lodge was really comfortable with a great kitchen that included all the utensils you could wish for alongside washer/dryer, dishwasher etc.   The boys loved the sofas and chair which were all recliners, much needed after a day walking round the many stunning areas of Loch Ness! 

Bedrooms all of good size and all have individual sink to use.  Bathroom and shower room also spotless.  The shower pressure was a little slow yet not a big issue at all. 

We got £10 electric included to start the rental and over 5 days spent about another £5. Not bad for 5 of us using all the appliances, showers, washer etc! 

Allan was really helpful and responsive both before we arrived (with a few questions we had) and was available throughout the stay.  

We had loads of animals visit us - rabbits, a hare and a fabulous woodpecker each morning!

All in all I would give it 10/10.  If you are in 2 minds .... just book it; you won’t be disappointed! 

After a busy schedule in London and Edinburgh we needed a bit of a more relaxed pace.  Drumnadrochit Lodges was just the ticket.  Cabin 5 has stunning views (Allan - you need to trim the trees to preserve the view!) of Loch Ness and the surrounding mountains.  The cabin is clean and comfortable, the kitchen was thoroughly equipped - Allan even had milk for our tea and a packet of biscuits waiting for us - and everything was very comfortable.  It's just a 10 minute drive down to the town (try Fiddler's very extensive whisky collection!) and the peace and quiet is well worth the drive up.  Drumnadrochit is a perfect spot from which to explore the surrounding sites.

I would easily come back for even longer stay.

Wonderful Family Getaway

Booked for 4 days stay at the beginning of June 2020 but corona virus and lock down prevented us from taking this holiday.  They refused to put our booking on hold or transfer it to another date when lock down had ended and refused to refund our deposit. They stated that if WE did not cancel they would take the whole monies so we were forced to cancel.   This behaviour was not found in any of our other bookings and I find it hard to believe people can be so mean as this holiday was a supposed to be a special time for my husbands 80th birthday as he grew up in this area.  We shall not be returning and will not recommend them.
