Similar to many of this little village's accommodation places, Ringfad is in an absolutely fantastic location which overlooks the local golf course and takes in the sweeping views of the ocean. Can also see isle Of man on a clear day

Myself and my brother stayed in Ringfad B&B on a cycling weekend around Co Down.  Our room was clean and cosy with a beautiful view over the ocean. The B&B owners could not have been more accommodating.  We were invited to join in their weekly table quiz at their charming local pub. They kindly provided a safe place for our car for the weekend (while we went off on our cycling) and insisted that we call them if we ran into any difficulty along the way. I had a great sleep and breakfast was delicious. I can't recommend this B&B (or South Co Down in general) highly enough.  Thank you so much Siobhan and John!!

A wonderful B&B in a fantastic area

Showen and John were very welcoming hosts. ( Cuppa on arrival). The accommodation was scrupulously clean and the views were outstanding - over the golf course and the sea.
Breakfast next morning was delicious. I would give ringfad bnb top Mark's on all counts.The ground floor ensuite (single) is ideal for anyone with limited mobility and the binoculars by the windows were a thoughtful choice

Ringfad BnB Ardglass, co Down

we stayed at Ringfad for four nights in the Phennick room on the main floor.  The room is large and has a good size bath with a shower. 

The view from the room and the main family room are amazing. We sat and watched the golfers playing at the famous golf course just across the road and just beyond that is the sea. At night we kept the window open and enjoyed the sounds of the waves breaking on the rocks, it is very quiet in town at night. 

The breakfast can be ordered from a menu. The food was very good and we enjoyed the view from the family room window as we dined. 

From the B&B it is a quick walk to all of the shops, restaurants and pubs. There is also a walking guide for the town of Ardglass and all of its historical places, of which We were impressed at how many are right in town.  Other places of interest in the area are a quick drive from town. 

The Owners are super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We learned a great deal about the area from them. And they  really helped connect us with people from town to help trace our family history. And they even invited us to sit in on local events. We had a lot of fun, loved the town and really loved this B&B and the Owners.

A wonderful B&B with a great view

We just booked one night (unfortunately just one) during our UK&Ireland tour. The hospitality from Family Smyth was great. Even we were strangers we felt like visiting old friends. The rooms are cozy and beautiful setup and the sea view is breathtaking. We will for sure come back for a longer stay. Thank you Siobahan and John for this lovely stay in your house. Chris & George.

We started our 12 day trip to Ireland by staying two nites in Adglass, a quaint little fishing village on the Irish Sea with a world class golf club.  Ringfad B&B is situated across from the golf club with stunning views of the sea.  Our hosts Siobhan and John greeted us with tea and scones which was much appreciated after our transatlantic flight and two hour drive from Dublin. Our room also faced the sea and was impeccably clean with comfy beds. All the paintings in the house are of boats or sea scapes but what impressed me was that they were painted by our hosts or their son and daughter. The breakfast was superb....Siobhan is a lovely baker, her brown bread delicious! I am so glad we stayed here and would highly recommend the Ringfad B&B.  John and Siobhan are friendly, gracious and very knowledgeable about the area. They suggested dinner at the golf club and it did not disappoint.

Stunning location and wonderful hospitality.

You won't be disappointed and will want to stay for longer! The hosts, John and Siobhan, are great and full of information, but only if you want it. Really well run B&B. Beautiful rooms, immaculately kept, tastefully decorated, with stunning views and a light maritime feeling. Binoculars, and even a telescope in one room, allow you to view the birds and seals overlooking a top-rated golf course on the shore. Great location. A guests' living/dining room has great literature on the area. Try dinner at the golf clubhouse - oldest in the world - you won't be disappointed. Relaxed, friendly, delicious!
