A GREAT PLACE TO STAY!  on the seafront Queens Promenade. Very handy for everywhere. Very clean neat and tidy. A very nice and well established hotel and guest house providing all that you need.  A very popular place

Thr Silvercraigs is Brilliant

The only thing worth saying was nice was the bed, the mattress was very comfy. Unfortunately the rest of the stay was a real letdown. Having not been for 2 years because of the pandemic, we were very excited to be there. Our excitement soon went. The room was top floor, no lifts, and 7 flights of stairs. So going up and down with bags, helmets, jackets, for riding our bike wore very thin. The room couldn’t be any smaller. The toilet and shower in a broom cupboard, the hand basin in our room. Just about room for the bed and once we get our gear off, it was busy. The tea/coffee consisted of a very hit or miss service sometimes they were there and sometimes they were not. When they were there, the wooden sticks that substitute for a spoon were not. The shower was cold and if you were prepared to wait 10 minutes it got warmer. No breakfast. ???  It said on a notice on the mirror, if you want clean bedding please take off a pillow case and leave on the bed, guess what? They put clean pillow cases on nothing else!!! We were there 9 days…. On the last evening, I was asked if we would like clean mugs…. As we had used the same ones since day 1 I declined… we felt we were charged a lot but it’s TT practise and race week, so it was that or don’t go. We had been let down by an agent who left it too long before telling us we had not got the house we paid a deposit for 3 years before as the owner sold it! Safe to say we would not stay there ever ever again, rather not go… and we are devoted to the TT.

Amazing Douglasi

I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed staying at Silvercraigs! Located right on the promenade, just a 10 minute walk from the grandstands! Stuart and Marie, our hosts, were awesome, engaging and had great suggestions for places to visit, dine and efficiently get around. Our room had amazing view of the Irish Sea, clean, comfortable and well appointed. we are already committed to returning next June! Isle Of Man was amazing and our stay at Silvercraigs just made it better!

TT Race Week

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. We had 2 rooms and they were fantastic. Great view of the local area and sea. Bathroom and the hotel room are very clean and tidy. Free wifi was excellent. Replacement towels are provided which was appreciated. Great service as well, the owner Stuart is fantastic as well. Helped with any problems or queries. Superb hotel, would reccommend it to everyone. 10/10 I'll be staying here next time i visit.

Fantastic hotel

Booked in March for a June stay. Out of the blue this week had an automatic email cancelling. I did not even get a personal email with an apology. Not responded to my email or voicemails. One phone line goes to answerphone, whilst the other is permanently engaged. Gone to SIGNIFICANT expense to find an alternative for a family room. Very stressful and expensive. We have to stay in another town now as Douglas is booked up in our budget range. Appalling service and customer treatment. Avoid this place as I am not the first person this has happened to lately...I would give zero if this were a rating option on Tripadvisor.

Cancelled with no notice or apology. Expensive to find alternative accommodation. AVOID.

Booked months in advance for six friends in six rooms for four nights for just under £900 to be told eight weeks before travelling that "due to a booking error they wanted a little over £5000 for the same trip.
Needless to say we have told them where to go.
Don't get yourselves ripped off by these highway men

Atrocious customer service

I booked to stay at silvercraigs Douglas isle of man on 25 February 2022, for 8 march to 15 march .l received a cancellation notice from them at 21 11 on 5 march , causing me to book elsewhere at considerable cost. Being close to arrival date.Their website states if l cancel my booking within 10 days they will charge 100% of booking.So surely l am entitled to claim the difference from them between the two prices.
 Apparently they have a new booking system that shouldn't have booked my stay, although I received a confirmation email from them.
One rule for big business and another for the little people.

Stayed at hotel 14-17th sept. Room on 1st floor lovely view. Nice comfortable beds.told we had a free upgrade which was nice. Showers very hot water. Think breakfast should be offered. Would stay again

Sisters weekend

Lovely place to stay and very central. Comfortable accommodation and very friendly staff. Very clean and tidy. Our grand daughter loved staying there as we did. We would certainly stay there again. Thank you very much.
