Wonderful peaceful place. Breakfast was fantastic. Cath was a terrific host.

Fantastic B&B! We felt very warmly welcomed by Cath, who was always on hand to help with anything we needed. Nothing was too much. Good location if you're driving, not far from both Criccieth and Porthmadog. Clean and cosy room was like a home away from home. There's a  cosy communal lounge with lovely wood fire just off the breakfast room. Breakfast was lovely - plenty of choice with fresh fruit, cereal and yogurt laid out, plus hot food options from the menu. Great value for money, would definitely recommend!

Room was large with plenty of space. Great view of the Welsh hills. Cooked breakfast was amazing.

We stayed for one night whilst on a motorbike tour, the parking is secure. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable and the host could not do enough for for you. Very welcoming, the breakfast was freshly cooked and really set you up for the day.

I like everything this was the second time we bin there and it was just has good

Perfect location and perfect hosts. Can’t wait to go back.

Fabtastic rural, cosy B&B

Good location, near to Porthmadog,  countryside/coast. Warm welcome by Kath on arrival. Brought lovely pot of tea & biscuits to huge guest lounge. Everything is very clean & hospitality tray good, biscuits etc. Breky fab with good choices! Flexible time for breakfast in the period from and to, rather than an exact slot, & choose breakfast in morning rather than night before, which was nice.

Lovely location and very welcoming hosts.  Very peaceful and first class accommodation with lovely en suite facility.  Amazing breakfast with so much choice and plenty to eat too!  The full English brekkie certainly sets you up for the day and so tasty.  Good choice of cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts and as afore mentioned, the breakfast. Lovely to see the birds on the bird feeders too enjoying their food too.  Lovely place and would definitely recommend and visit again. Easy parking as well.  Good selection of of brochures of local places to visit and easy to get to Porthmadog for the Welsh Highland Railway. Thank you.

A very comfortable stay at Cefn Uchaf. We were warmly greeted by our host Kath who offered us tea, coffee and biscuits in the large and cosy lounge upon our arrival. Free WiFi is offered. Our room was comfortable and felt like a home from home. The space is large with lots of space for clothes and a large tv, although with such amazing views of the Welsh countryside you won’t be bothered to switch on the tv! The beds are comfortable and we each had a restorative nights sleep. There is a kettle for tea/coffee and biscuits. Towels and toiletries are provided and there are books available to read if you have forgotten to bring your own. The breakfast offering is plentiful with lots of choice for hot and cold food and tea and coffee is offered. The food is very delicious and freshly prepared each morning and of good quality. A great location for a visit to North Wales. We would be delighted to return!

A warm and comfortable bed & breakfast

I had an amazing stay here. Located in a nice quiet but scenic location. My room was great I had my own separate spacious bathroom and a double bed room next door to it. The grounds of the hotel are green and you can see woodpeckers from the window. The breakfast options were great from a cooked breakfast to fresh fruit yoghurts and cereals. I also unexpectedly received daily housekeeping. The hotel is located within reasonable driving distance to nice beaches and attractions.

Great stay

Had a fantastic one-night stay, traveling with a friend on our motorcycle tour around Wales. Good parking for the bikes at the back of the guest house. fresh ground coffee on arrival. Lots of TV stations in the room. Had the best breakfast on our trip here. They even filled our flaskes when we left. Would reccomend.

Great family run B&B

Very good guesthouse, would recommend, I went twice in September with my sister's, 
The host was a lovely lady, very pleasant & helpful, also offered us a pot of tea upon arrival. 
The breakfast again was just right, and plenty of it.
Would definitely consider returning here again.

2 very good visits ✅

Lovely large former farmhouse about a mile along a secluded single-track lane off the A487, but well signposted from the main road. Room very clean and comfy with a delightful view the mountains and sheep in the adjoining field. Large selection of breakfast options. My choice was the excellent full Welsh that easily kept me going until the evening. The host (Kath) was very helpful in all respects, particularly with places to eat in the evening. I can't fault my experience at Cefn Uchaf at all and it will definitely be my 'go to' next time I visit North Wales.

First Rate B&B

Upon arrival we were greeted and offered a drink. We were offered a choice of two rooms. We took the smaller room because it was cooler. The food was fantastic. Location was prime. In the countryside surrounded by mountains and sheep. Our host was very friendly and helpful. She recommended some great places to visit. Highly recommend and would go back there.

All around perfection.

Very friendly greeting by lovely host who was very helpful and provided everything we needed. Spacious, warm, clean room with good facilities.  Fantastic views from windows in our bedroom and bathroom. Pleasant breakfast room with a garden view and a large sitting room available for residents to use.  Good range of fresh fruit, cereals and cooked breakfast available. Good, safe, off road, private parking also available.  Situated in the countryside but only a few miles drive from Criccieth. Sudden problem with our bath drain resulted in quite a mess but the owners remained calm; they checked and sorted the problem with minimal fuss.
