Fabulous room, great service and the best value breakfast we have ever had . Will Defo be returning .

Although the room was clean, it was noisy and cold during the night. We stayed in room eight across from Harpurs hotel in the old building. Only one chair provided to sit and have a cup of tea. Breakfast was dear at £15pp on top of our hotel stay. !!!!!!! Would not stay there again.

Harpur's provides a good pub stay option in Melbourne.

The Deluxe Double rooms & Suite provide large, modern, comfortable accommodation at a very reasonable price.

There is no air conditioning in the rooms which can be problematic in the summer but generally isn't an issue. Breakfast isn't available on weekdays but there are a couple of great cafes within a short walk.

Nice stay near Derby

The TV didn't work, reported to staff never got resolved. The electronic blinds also never worked plus there was no desk to work on - not suitable for business purposes of which the accommodation was booked for

There were 14 of us pre booked for a hen night meal..
The food was not the best and despite choosing and paying in advance some choices were unavailable on the night,the alternatives served were not nice.Salads are mainly lettuce with very little else.
On the plus side,after complaining were given a refund on the items not good.Drinks are very expensive.
The atmosphere was good and the bride to be had a lovely night.
The staff are very nice and friendly and dealt well with complaints.Will not return.

Lively pub,food overpriced and not the best.

Lunch pizza was very tasty. The sourdough pizza was pizza my diabetic wife can eat.
Beer was good.
Disability toilets you could believe you were the first to use it, exemplary.
Ladies loos also were great. However signage to mans and disability WC's needs better signage.
Service poor very slow and at times seemed we were being ignored!
I would reckon  if service was better we would have had a coffee a dessert and who 2 or 3 pints additionally, Management take note.


Service sucked.

Lovely small hotel in beautiful Melbourne. Only disappointment was no breakfast served on a Monday and very little choice of a nowhere to eat on a Sunday night. The beauty of the stunning little town made up for it though.

Great room which was very clean but the public area carpets up stairs were not in a good condition, very stained.Downside was no breakfast

Pizza not much topping and very dry with no taste 
Salad 2 pieces of tomato shavings of beetroot .
And all rocket .Menu expensive.
Staff never asked if we wanted more drinks appalling service. Just stood around not sure what to do.
Ordered our own drinks from bar.
