Booked a 1 nights stay at Premier Inn East Midlands Airport due to having an 06:00 flight from East Midlands Airport. There was a cost to park at the hotel which I understood because of the proximity to the airport. We booked via the website which encouraged us to book the carpark via a 3rd party provider, the cost was £8 for a 13 hour stay. I considered this cost acceptable as it saved us several hours sleep had we driven from home. However, had we waited until arriving at the hotel the reception staff issue a voucher for a 50% discount on parking when paying via the machine in the car park, the website does not make this information available.

We had pre-booked a table for an evening meal when making the hotel booking which turned out to be a good decision as on arrival we were notified there would only be one chef on duty that evening so there may be delays once food had been ordered also, other guests were being turned away if they hadn't pre booked. When we took our reserved table we were aware of the possible delay but we were also advised that there were no french fries available as these had not been delivered, there was no mention of anything else that would be served as a replacement item. On questioning the waitress she agreed that we could order an equivalent item from the menu of the same value as the fries which would be included in the same price of the meal. We didn't actually have wait too long for the meal but imagine my surprise (not) when we received the bill that the replacement item had been charged additionally to the price of the meal. A while after questioning this these items were removed from the bill, it pays to check your bill!

These incidents will not stop us from using Premier Inn again as we have fad some fantastic stays at many others.

We stayed here at the weekend following a late night flight. Just a minute from East midland airport its ideal. It was lovely and quiet and found a parking space no problem. The parking only cost us £4 for 24 hours which I thought was great value. The room was expected and the bed very comfy. It was peaceful with no slamming off doors etc and the window kept all the outside noise at bay. 
The breakfast was superb and unlike other premier inns it was cooked fresh to order.  All the staff were really friendly and would definitely stay here again!

The best premier inn we've stayed in!

Stuck in a really difficult spot with local elderly parents. Had to find a local hotel at very short notice. Premier inn.. Short staffed but still had time for us. Specifically.. Peter and Abbie who really helped under very busy circumstances.

Jamie and Peter who both manned the reception checking us in and then were there to serve us in the bar and take and bring us our food orders in a busy bar and restaurant area were exceptional.
Nothing was any bother to them and they were very polite and helpful with everyone.

Exceptional staff

Came to work with my brother! Which is always good fun. I would like to thank Jamie and Peter. It looked like a crazy evening and afternoon and they did an amazing job. They were both speeding around all night and still managed to make all the customers happy. Thankyou for the lovely food and drinks. 

Amazing place!!!

Being from Scotland I wasn’t familiar with the area, every member of staff was helpful regarding the area, directions and the whereabouts. Very professional and polite. Staff went above and beyond, had a bit of a blip regarding phone signal, where my first room was allocated in the building the staff resolved this by changing my room to a higher level. The closest hotel to the airport with cheap parking.

Lovely welcome at check in, paying for parking should just be included in price of room.
Ate in restaurant for evening meal, service was poor, had to keep asking for things as for some reason all staff seemed to be over interested in a woman on her own sat opposite us, our food took quite a while, nobody checked if everything was ok but kept asking the woman opposite! The portion sizes were small for the price paid and the childrens portions were just inadequate. Had to keep asking for drinks, asked 3 different people for desserts before order was taken.
Room was noisy you could hear everyone that walked by in the corridor all night and the people upstairs banging around so didn't sleep a wink which wasn't an ideal start to our holiday.
We have stayed in lots of premier inns up and down the country and this was the worst by far for service and room quality etc.

Just ok

Very clean comfy welcoming and helpful excellent night's sleep before catching my plane. Very good value for money, and so neat to the airport made it easy for an early morning flight. Would recommend 

Friendly welcome

Such a welcoming young lady at the restaurant, Georgiana, managed to get us a table quickly and she has been so helpful all evening. It was a pleasure to have my dinner here. Food was quick and delicious! All staff was nice and friendly.

Dinner

Visited for dinner and coffee. Service and food were great, staff friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. 
The food was really tasty, the staff seem genuinely happy to be at work which Is refreshing to see.
